Merveilleux sejour a Rome

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'endroit. Un très bel appartement, bien situé et très propre. L'acceuil par Francesca fut impeccable et d'une aide precieuse!

Awesome Home away from Home!

This property was a true delight. This was our first time in Rome and Andrea, Debora and Francesca made us feel very welcomed and their property was perfect. There was ample space for my family of 9 and was well equipped with everything you'd need. The property was away from city center but right off the subway line making it easy to access all the sites. It was nice to be out of the fray and be able to explore the more authentic Italian eateries, bakeries and shops. Francesca was very helpful answering all our questions once we arrived. This is a must rent property. Thank you for a comfortable stay in Rome!

Just as pictured

This was a great place to stay. Very clean, AC worked well, bedrooms were very nice and each one had a bathroom which made it great for our group of 5. The apartment has everything you need - washer, dryer, iron, blow dryer, etc. The location is not walking distance to the tourist attraction especially in the June heat but that was not an issue at all as the metro is right out side the door to your left! You can get anywhere you need to with in 5 to 10 minutes. The host were great and met us upon our arrival to show us the unit and explain everything to us. We greatly appreciated the 101 on the metro and how to get around and the nearby restaurant suggestions. This is a great VRBO for a larger group as you has so much space to spread out and be able to come home to rest without being on top of each other or waiting for a shower! We would definitely recommend this unit to others:) Thank you for having us!

Great place!

We were very happy with this apartment for many reasons. It was lovely, very clean and conveniently located near a Metro stop. Andrea and Debbie couldn’t have been more helpful. They responded quickly to every question we had and provided a helpful overview of the city. We would definitely stay there again.

Exactly as described and even better

Andrea and Debora were absolutely amazing with every aspect of our stay at their VRBO. They were easily to connect with, they arranged transport from airport and gave us all a map of the area with key pointers of the metro system and recommendations of where to eat. Hands down a great experience while we were in Rome.

Not a super host by far!

#1: Andrea offered me a discount to book his place but I learned in order to get that discount, I had to book directly with him NOT through VBRO. Red flag! Never book outside VRBO due to scam listings. I voiced my concern about booking outside the site. I lost the discount but I rather be protected. 2nd: the house I wanted(the one I'm writing the review for) had a water infiltration issue. I was notified a month before my arrival. The 2nd house was doable but not as nice. There was no discount offered for changing the house due to a issue on his end. At this point, my 1st deposit was already made and plans were set. Plus, at such late notice, it was close to impossible to find another house that would be able to accommodate a group of 9. #3: the WORST reason. I was informed upon arrival THAT THE METRO NEAR THE HOUSE TO ROME TERMINI WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION! upon arrival!! you're meaning to tell me that there was no notice given out that such line running from so and so is under construction from dates so and so was known to the public?!! The entire trip, my group of 9 had to use taxis to and fro our destinations, spending way more than we should have to. everyone in Rome knows that buses aren't reliable and I made train reservations on Italo to go to Venice and Naples for a Capri boat tour and Pompeii. Using the buses was not an option for us! #4: Don't use their transfer services. Book your own taxis on the app FREE NOW for much CHEAPER rates. They might try to lure you to use their privately arranged taxi services. Book your own if you want to save $$$. Don't ever feel pushed by the locals to making a quick decision. They know, you’re new and semi-clueless to their side of the world. Once you learn the system, you won't use their higher charged services. #5: one of my family members realized upon arrival in Zurich that he left his camera bag at the check in counter at FCO. I completely understand that you can't except anyone to do you a favor but there is absolutely no harm in asking. The worst that can happen is a no. I was willing to pay for the expenses related to the favor. I asked Andrea if he can offer help and offered to pay for the roundtrip to the airport and any expenses. The reply I got back was beyond rude. Fellow tourists remember: once people have your money, consider them strangers. I quote Andrea's words "I don't need your money for my life. in Switzerland, the people are more honest. Prices are set, no trying to overcharge ppl.

Amazing Place to Stay in Rome

Andrea and his daughter was fantastic. They picked us up from the airport and even when my sister's flight was delayed they stayed to wait for her. The apartment was beautiful, very well maintained just like the pictures. We were a group of six and everyone was comfortable. The apartment was very close to everything. Train Station just a couple steps away. Bus right next to the place. I would highly recommend this apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice apartment, clean, remodeled, tastefully furnished

Let me say many thanks to our host/hostess Andrea & Debora. They were wonderful. Our first trip to Rome started rough(thief almost stole our backpack at car rental location, I almost lost my passport) but both Andrea and Debora were very supportive. Debora called the airport and found my passport. They were very helpful in directing us to things to do in Rome, recommending restaurants, etc. Like other reviews, the apartment was very close to the metro that leads you to the Vatican and Coliseum. Despite our rough start, both Andrea and Debora were always there for us with a smile. We came with a family of 10 which was challenging but they were always accommodating to us. We highly recommend booking with them when in Rome!

Great Apartment in Genuine Roman Neighbourhood

Our stay began with a pick up at Rome Airport and ended with transport to Roma Termini (Train Station) both provided by our host at a reasonable price. Our host, Andrea and his family were wonderful hosts providing us with everything that we needed from a thorough introduction to the apartment, the building and the neighborhood. The apartment is tastefully decorated with three bedrooms, four bathrooms,two balconies and a great kitchen. The pictures are representative of the space. It is located two Metro (subway) stops from the Vatican and seven stops with an easy transfer to the Collesium. Everything you need is very close including restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, cafes and gellato shops. Because it is not located in central (tourism) Rome the restaurants are reasonably priced and the food is excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it very highly.

A perfect stay

The flat was stylish, spacious and comfortable. We found the location perfect for us as central Rome was a short bus or metro trip away with stops on the doorstep. Andrea, Debora and Francesca were delightful people who made us feel instantly welcomed and at ease with their kindness. The beds were really comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in the flat. which was as lovely as we had hoped for. The Tiramisu pasticceria just up the road was fantastic for breakfast too. Thank you to our lovely hosts.

Our 2017 Rome Trip

Fantastic time! We were a party of 7 traveling from the Bahamas. Andrea was an excellent host. He and his family assisted us in every possible way. He arranged for a restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday and my friend divorce. The location is ideal because the metro is only a few steps away. The metro system is easy to follow. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to this site. The apartment is exactly as in the photos, beautifully decorated, all the necessities and 4 bathrooms. Furthermore there are all types of stores within the vicinity for all one need while in Rome. I love and will be back.

Highly recommended if travelling to Rome!

Unsure where to start but first, we wish to thank our hosts - absolutely fabulous and they go above beyond. So many extra touches, that we have not experienced with other properties or owners. The property as stated in other comments is far superior than what is viewed online with the pictures. The apartment is extremely clean and has every amenity you can ask for. The location is second to none and cannot be beat. I am planning a future trip to Rome next year and I will be sure to reach out and book this property again or may consider one of their other properties. Thank you again Debra and Andrea our family is ever so grateful. Hope to see you again in 2018 and I will be sure to share with others and highly recommend booking with Debra and Andrea.

10 STARS!!!

The place is fabulous. Even better than pictured. Very comfortable beds, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The Metro stop is right next door, so it is extremely convenient. The best part of the whole experience is Andrea, Debora and their family. You would have a difficult time finding better hosts. They met us at the building and assisted us with our mound of luggage. They also came back when we left to assist again. It was a pleasure to stay at this apartment. I hope to return next year! Book with complete confidence. My only regret is that we had to leave!!
