Three Generations to Italy

Our stay in Rome was made even more special by this lovely apartment and our hosts. They welcomed us, helped us to feel at home and gave us ideas for how to see sites. The neighborhood is very comfortable, with restaurants and market close by. Transportation around Rome was convenient via bus - and surprisingly easy to use. We stayed closely connected via What’s App, and when I needed assistance - the host was there within minutes. My daughter enjoyed drinking wine on the balcony in the evening. My grand kids enjoyed the smart TV. We enjoyed evening take out pizza from a local restaurant, and a lovely place just downstairs for coffee and croissants. The apartment was so clean and cozy, we felt very comfortable staying there. Many thanks to our hosts - hope you have a great tourist season. The Herbert Family

This is a spacious, clean and well-appointed apartment in a good neighborhood. Hosts were welcoming and met us in person to make sure we understood how everything works. The bedrooms are spacious, and the living room furniture is quite comfortable. We did a little cooking, and the kitchen is fine for preparing simple meals. Bathrooms are great. There are good restaurants, bakeries and cafes nearby, from family-run to fine dining. We felt comfortable among the gracious locals and enjoyed the respite from the tourist hordes of April 2023. Bus stops are close and provide connections to the metro and all parts of the city. If you arrive in downtown Rome at Termini and have any luggage, recommend getting a taxi to the apartment. Our cab drivers were courteous, honest and the fare is about 17 euro.

So macht Urlaub Spaß.

Für unseren ersten Trip nach Rom wählten wir diese Location und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die gut ausgestattete und ansprechend eingerichtete Wohnung erwies sich als perfekte Basis für unsere Ausflüge. Trotz Nähe zu einer zentralen Straße ist sie in einer Nebenstraße recht ruhig gelegen - bei geschlossenen Fenstern nimmt man keine Außengeräusche wahr. Durch die zwei Badezimmer und den großen Wohn- Essbereich wäre die Wohnung auch gut für zwei Paare geeignet. Bushaltestellen befinden sich in der Nähe. Aber man läuft auch nur gut 30 Minuten bis zum Vatikan. Ein Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke, preiswerte Bistros und Pizzerien ebenfalls. Zu empfehlen ist das Rimpizzamose. Hier kann man dem Pizzabäcker direkt zuschauen und neapolitanische oder römische Pizza ordern. Der Nahverkehr ist preiswert - das Ticket kostet 1,50 EUR und gilt 100 Minuten. Die Kommunikation mit unseren sehr angenehmen Gastgebern verlief perfekt. Für einen unkomplizierten Transfer vom Flughafen waren sie uns behilflich. Und wenn sie mal nicht persönlich zur Stelle sein konnten, sprang der ebenfalls empfehlenswerte Housekeeper- Service ein. Wir verleihen deshalb unseren Gastgebern das Prädikat: Besonders wertvoll! Fabulous Stay

Capone al Vaticano is exactly as pictured - gorgeous, spacious, and has the “home away from home” feel. It was great to go grocery shopping or bring back take away knowing we have a refrigerator & microwave to use. Beds & couch were so comfortable. Not many listings also have a washer (just be prepared on European washer times). The triple door lock with an extra latch had my cousin & I feeling safe. It’s in a safe neighborhood with easy access to transportation (bus & taxi). We walked to the Vatican twice which took us approximately 20-30 minutes (we’d stop a few times to marvel at the food or something else that caught our eye). The neighborhood has grocery stores, banks, restaurants(a McDonalds across but why when you’re in Rome?!) , gelato, pastry shop, tobacco shop & a pharmacy. If you don’t mind public transport, I would suggest buying a Roma ticket from the tabacchi shop. Luisa and Paul are excellent hosts. They want to make sure you enjoy your stay. From check-in to check-out, it was a breeze. The informational guide they prepared is so helpful (take screenshots for use while in Rome). Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The Christmas decorations they put were a nice touch. They greeted us upon arrival & came to see is early in the morning when we left. Communication was easy when I would remember to check. Frankly, we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely book here again. Buon Natale, Luisa e Paul!

Beautiful Apartment – Fantastic Owners/Hosts!

Me and my 3 sister’s stayed in Luisa and Paul’s apartment during our time in Rome and I cannot say enough great things about the apartment and Luisa and Paul. The apartment is exactly as pictured. A spacious beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath modern apartment with a balcony; around 15 – 20 minutes via taxi from the Rome Termini train station, in a secure and safe building. You will find public bus and a taxi stand right outside of the building as well as a café, gelato shop and supermarket. Very convenient! Our hosts; Luisa and Paul are fantastic! From start to finish the experience was wonderful. They sent me a message as soon as the apartment was booked and provided detailed information (address, contact numbers, different ways of getting to the apartment, etc.) a couple of weeks before our arrival and were very quick to provide answers to any questions that I had. They greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full tour of the apartment. They also supplied us with a booklet of all things we needed to know about the apartment as well as a list of ‘must see’ locations and very precise directions on how to get there. Luisa sent us links to restaurants to take my sister to for her birthday on Friday night and also gave us great tips when visiting the sites. They took wonderful care of us! Luisa was there at 8am to bid us farewell on our journey back to America. They truly are a wonderful couple and great hosts! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Luisa and Paul!!!

Great stay in Rome!

We loved this 2 bed, 2 bath apartment for our3 night stay in Rome. The neighborhood had neat small restaurants & grocery market to walk to. Very safe access to the apartment building. Everything in apartment functioned great, all updated & very comfortable. Luisa & Paul were great hosts. Public bus & taxi stand right outside. We enjoyed being out of the hectic city center, yet just a short bus ride to everything! Hosts were so helpful they made us dinner reservations & had a full book of helpful information for us at check in. They treat you like friends & family. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Terrific Apartment

I would highly recommend this apartment. It is close to public transportation and has good cafes and restaurants nearby. We walked to the Vatican and it took us approx. 30 minutes. Louisa and Paul are very helpful, hospitable hosts. They supplied us with a list of ‘must see’ locations, as well as directions on how to get there. The apartment was very clean and modern. The bathrooms are large and updated. Louisa and Paul set up the transportation to/from the airport, which worked out wonderfully. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Wonderful Experience!

Louisa and Paul were amazing! They made our time in Rome the best it could be. The apartment was gorgeous! Everything was new and tastefully decorated. It was very spacious for the 4 of us. The location was convenient to transportation and even walking. It was about 30 minute walk to the Vatican. We took a taxi a few times to other sights and there was a pick up in front of the building The apartment was very safe and quiet. The beds were comfortable as well. We truly loved this place and enjoyed getting to know Louisa and Paul. They took wonderful care of us and made sure our visit was the best. You will love this place and your hosts.

Great Stay with Fantastic Owners

The apartment is exactly as pictured. My family of four (wife and 2 teens) knew we booked a winner when we entered and the apartment and there was a complimentary bottle of champagne and juice in the refrigerator. We were greeted by the owners, Luisa and Paul, who were brought a map of Rome and were eager to show us the places to see, eat and shop around the city. Paul even created a his own guide summarizing the neighborhood, sites of Rome, transportation, and basic facts only a resident of Rome would know. The couple's enthusiasm and desire to make us comfortable really set the tone for our great stay in Rome. Attractions in Rome are a bit spread out, and the apartment is closer to the Vatican. Nonetheless, we had no problem catching buses and taxis in front of the apartment to get us anywhere we needed to go. Luisa and Paul were helpful in explaining the bus lines for where we needed to go. They even set up our transportation to the airport and got up at 6 am to send us off. A real class act. No hesitations on staying here again.

Highly recommend-Amazing!!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our Rome experience with Luisa and Paul was! Our luggage was lost on our initial leg before arriving to Rome and Luisa was right there to help us with the logistics of getting delivered to the apartment. They gave countless recommendations and were available to us at any time for any questions we had. They assisted in getting us a car service as well! The apartment is very nice and clean. All the comforts of home which is just what we needed after spending 3 days in Paris with no luggage! It was my first experience renting overseas and they made it perfect !!

Perfect Neighborhood Apt. ❤️🇮🇹

I love getting away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots. This was perfect! Great family restaurants, pizzeria and gelato right outside your door. The apt was even cuter in person. But the owners were the most helpful couple I’ve ever experienced. Luisa was just a Lovely Lady. kind, sweet and helped us book taxis and talk to other hotel managers for us in Italian. We were sad we were not able to stay longer. best experience I’ve ever had in a VRBO.

Wonderful Experience

From start to finish the experience was wonderful. Luisa and Paul were very courteous and polite. They assisted us with getting transportation to and from the airport. Give suggestions on places to eat which were affordable and good. The accommodation was clean, and comfortable. Luisa was available if we had questions so I highly recommend this place.

Awesome HOST! Awesome HOME!!!

I do not have enough words to summarize this incredible apartment! It has the perfect location that is close to the city center, and also contains all of the possible forms of transportation to get you from place to place. There is a taxi stand just outside, and the bus lines are just across the street. The Metro is not very far either. The apartment itself is SO BEAUTIFUL, and looks EXACTLY like the pictures! Lastly, but certainly not least, the host Luisa and Paul are truly beautiful and incredible people! They were so attentive even before we arrived. They took their time to set up transportation for us, and answer any questions we may have about things to do, what to see, restaurants, and how to generally navigate the city and area. They also left us snacks and gifted us with wine. They are two people my friend and I were blessed to meet, and will never forget. They are two reasons why we loved Rome so much! We LOVED this apartment, and you will too!

Die Beschreibung war perfekt getroffen. Wir haben eine super schöne Wohnung vorgefunden. Luisa und Paul haben uns herzlich empfangen und viele Tipps für unseren Kurztrip in Rom gegeben. Bei Fragen und benötigter Hilfe waren sie sofort zur Stelle. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen. Bis zum Petersdom sind es 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Und Rom sollte man zu Fuß erkunden. The perfect Rome vacation rental

This apartment is perfect in all aspects from comfort of the furnishings, the location and outstanding hospititally. Louisa and Paul were there to assist at arrival and departure. They provided information on food, places to visit and made themselves available for any questions. Louisa has a talent for decorating and providing all of the extras you would not expect from a rental which made it so we did not want to leave. We will return to this special place.

GREAT APARTMENT WITH WONDERFUL HOSTS

In our opinion, travel is not just about what you see, but who you meet. The owners of this apartment, Luisa & Paul, were the perfect hosts. They live in the same apartment building, which was ideal. Anything they could do to help, was their motto. The apartment is on the third floor ( one below the top) with a lift. It is well-furnished, with comfy beds and has 2 shower rooms, perfect! Also, it has a well-equipped kitchen and a good-sized and comfortable living/dining area, with a balcony providing some outside space. Air/con is in the living/dining area and both bedrooms. The apartment is quiet at night and it is situated around 2kms from the historic centre. However, there are frequent buses to the centre, just around the corner from the apartment and there is also a taxi rank just metres from the building entrance. We had a wonderful 4-night stay and can't thank Luisa & Paul enough for their hospitality. There's nothing negative to say about this apartment! Shirley & Derek
