Large Apartment next to the coliseum

The apartment is spacious and located in a small, quiet neighborhood just off the street leading to the Colosseum. Despite a few issues during our stay, I still gave it four stars thanks to Christina’s care and responsiveness.We experienced some problems—the AC wasn’t working for part of our stay, the safe was not functional, and the building’s front door was broken. While I understand that unexpected issues can happen, especially in an older Roman building, I do feel that many of these could have been addressed before guests arrived.That said, Christina handled everything with professionalism. She issued a refund for the days we were without AC and even had her nephew bring us a standing fan, which was a huge help given the intense summer heat in Rome.I recommend confirming the apartment’s amenities with the host before your arrival. Christina was incredibly responsive and helpful—and to me, that’s one of the most important aspects of a great Airbnb experience.

Perfect!

Terrific Rome apartment. Well equipped, super comfortable, and very spacious. Cristiana always answered our questions immediately. The location was absolutely perfect. Close enough to sights, buses, and metro. But located in a quiet neighbourhood of cafes, mini markets and restaurants. We would definitely return. Thanks so much.

Inconvenient location

Francesca did a good job at checkin. Bed was comfortable. Tv had many English speaking programs. Internet was very good. Kitchen and laundry soap supplied but bring your own shower soap and shampoo. Appliances were good. The location has a big parking problem. There are no taxi stands nor metro nearby. If you call a taxi you must speak Italian. There was one taxi that responded in English but never showed up is spite of numerous calls. I called host to help but she did not respond. We missed our bus to Sorrento. If you’re an excellent walker you may do well.

This apartment was perfect for myself and 2 friends who stayed there. It wasclose to the Colossium area and to public transportation. The neigh orhood was delightful and we appreciated the very informative checkin that we had. Check out was also very simple. If in Rome again this is thebplace to stay.

Un appartement bien placé et agréable

L'appartement est proche de la gare et du Colisée, ce qui est très pratique. L'appartement est agréable à vivre, car il est équipé d'une climatisation, d'un lit spacieux et de nombreux équipements. Les propriétaires sont également à l'écoute, réactifs et parlent français ! Bref, notre semaine à Rome fut superbe !

Perfect stay! Highly recommend!

The place enhanced our experience! Not only is the location very convenient to the Colosseum area but the apartment is located in a very old building with beautiful architecture and a very traditional Roman style of living. Our host Cristiana was AMAZING to work with! She arranged things special for us to make check in no stress after our flight was canceled. A lot of thought has been put into the apartment and it has a very nice style and decor and the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. It had everything we needed including a clothes washing machine. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

Great family stay

This apartment was brilliant for our needs. It had everything we could have hoped for and more. There wa da bus right outside the door; Mini marts as well, everything was so easy to access. Communication with the hosts was top notch, easy check in and check out process. Would highly recommend. Would stay there again for sure!

1 of the towels was dirty (looked like it fell on the floor), silverware wasn't cleaned properly and there was mold all over the shower and bathroom. To be fair...the host offered to have someone come and clean it. But I didn't really want anyone to come and clean with all of our stuff there and while we were in the apartment. It looks like it needs a good bleaching.

Perfect Getaway

I looked all over the internet to find somewhere to stay when my husband and I went to Italy for the first time. I came across this location and it lived beyond my expectations. It was clean, organized, very cozy. The bed was comfortable! It was very easy to check in and the owner was available to answer questions about the area throughout our stay. I would without a doubt recommend this place to family and friends. My husband and I had the best time in Italy because we knew we had a safe and cozy place to go back to every night.

Perfect location!

We stayed in Rome for the Rome Marathon, but the location was more than just ideal for the marathon. It was centrally located a few blocks from the colosseum with easy access to all of Rome’s great sites. Would recommend!

Great location!

Me and my kid stayed here when we were passing by on our trip through Italy and Spain. This is the only place out of multiple rentals and hotels that didnt have a sewer smell. The washer/dryer worked really well. I was so happy! The location is great, close to the colosseum and the train station. Theres a coffee shop a few feet away from the apt building. Plenty of food near you, we really liked Coming Out Rome, excellent food. Prompt communication with the hosts at all times. Would def recommend.
