There is more to Rome than just “Rome”. This place felt like home from the communication of our host David, to the outdoor space and restaurants that are walking distance which offer wonderful food for great prices. Multiple supermarkets close by. Beach is 5 minute drive. We also drove to Ostia Beaches which are beautiful and about 25 minutes away. Also a short walk to s small water front path with great seafood restaurants and outdoor seating. We have travelled well over 25 times same person and This beats most trip we have been on and best VRBO we have stayed at. Ciao David and Grazie Mille!!!!!

Convenient to airport and great coffee nearby

David was super friendly and helpful. The property was very convenient and comfortable. The location wasn’t super attractive but very convenient to Fiumicino airport with excellent coffee at a nearby bar and a large supermarket around the corner.

We only stayed one night but overall, it was a great place to stay for our layover. It was convenient to the airport and not too far from the center of Rome. The apartment was clean and David was very helpful getting us in and settled. The beds were not really beds, more like cots and a pull out couch. A friend staying with us had his feet hanging off the end in his room (he is very tall though). Those smaller cots are good for kids.

Great place and perfect for our family of 4! We had a one night stay prior to a morning flight. Wonderful location - can easily walk to beach and lots of restaurants. Apartment and garden are wonderful and peaceful! And, having a washing machine was a huge plus!Additionally, David is a great host. Super responsive and he even helped arrange transportation for us which made things super easy.Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home!!

David was an exceptional host - kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The apartment was spotless, modern, and located in a quiet neighborhood. The air conditioning was a huge bonus, especially during the heat wave. Despite being close to the airport, we barely noticed any plane noise. David also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations and even offered to make reservations for us. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would highly recommend staying here!

Great Stay in Fiumicino!

David was so kind friendly and helpful! The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and very close to the airport. The host was so helpful and gave some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do during my stay. He was also always available to help with anything I needed. I highly recommend this property!

Great Stay Near the Airport with Exceptional Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at David’s apartment! David was incredibly gracious and patient as our arrival time kept changing, which we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious, and perfect for a quick overnight near the airport.David’s hospitality really stood out—he went out of his way to help us with food delivery and was always readily available if we needed anything. Incredible experience

Can't tell you how amazing David was. We were just staying one night due to an overnight flight in Rome. Our flight was delayed and we canceled our reservation with David since we were going to be coming in at midnight. The airline was supposed to be giving us a hotel, they canceled there offer and I texted David at close to 1am to see if we could still use the reservation. He was so kind and accommodating! He met us at the property, had wine ready for us and had a car called for us next morning to go to the airport. You can't get any better thoughtful service than that! Wish we had a longer time to stay at his lovely place - really cute front yard to relax in, large bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Thanks, David for your kindness!

I needed a nite in Rome due to airplane connections so we chose something close. David was most generous & we had one of the best meals - at the mouth of the Tiber river The morning we left there were gale winds & our host offered to block the apartment in case travel was cancelled. Spacious, quiet stay close to airport.

Our host, David, met us as we arrived and explained everything about the apartment. The apartment itself was super clean, quiet and comfortable. The Asian themed decor was lovely and warm. David’s communication with us was spot on. We were only able to stay one night as we were leaving back to the states the next day. David also arranged a taxi ride to the airport for us! I would highly recommend staying at this very comfortable home!

Great location for FCO travel

David's place was great and David was a fantastic host. He was so communicative and helpful. He met us when we checked-in and showed us around the apartment. He even scheduled our van to the airport the next morning. The apartment is 5 minutes from FCO airport and a perfect location for next day travel out of Rome. The apartment is close to numerous restaurants. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The next day our flight out of FCO was delayed and did not depart for 24 hours. David checked in to see how our stay was and I shared our frustration. He offered to host us another night and help with any trouble we might have that was caused by the signifiant delay. He is a great host and a very kind, helpful person. Highly recommend.

Rome Airport stay

David's apartment was very convenient for our early morning flights from the Rome airport. David was very communicative before our arrival. David also arranged for a taxi for us in the morning, which appeared right on time. The airport is a quick 10 minute, 25 Euro taxi ride from the apartment. At arrival we were greeted by David's parents who showed us the apartment and also the local take-out pizza shop for our late dinner. This is a charming apartment and very convenient. We would stay at this apartment again.

David was the most gracious host ever who immediately met us on arrival and welcomed us with open arms! The villa was absolutely stunning with many personal decorating touches! The property is very safe and secure with a gate and a special feature of having the host right next door. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne which we toasted with our great host, David. David provided great dinner recommendations as well! Best location near the airport whether you are leaving the next day or just arriving to Rome. You won’t find a nicer host or property anywhere in the world! We can’t wait for our next visit!. Thanks again David for everything! You are the best! very safe and secure

Get a good night’s sleep before your flight

This is such a great place to stay for an early morning flight as it is a 10 minute ride to the airport (as opposed to the 45 minute ride from Rome). David was in frequent contact with us, met us for our late arrival and gave us a quick but thorough orientation including restaurants and mini mart within a block. He arranged for our 6 am van (too much luggage). The home is easy access on the ground level, well-equipped and immaculate. This will be the ONLY place we will book before a flight departure from Rome in the future.
