Gian Cristina were welcoming hosts who went the extra mile in every way. From excellent communication & logistics, to a personalized orientation of the property to providing much appreciated necessities like water, snacks, coffee and even a bottle of wine with a hand-written welcome note. If you are looking for a refined experience, look no further. The apartment is elegantly appointed, comfortable and in a phenomenal location - I cannot recommend it highly enough. The experience enriched our entire trip...grazie!

Amazing stay in Rome, 10 stars!

You must stay here to experience Rome. Gian and Cristina are amazing hosts and so welcoming it is like you are staying with family! Our family of 4 (two teenage daughters) stayed for 5 nights and our experience was exquisite. We are already trying to plan our next trip back to Rome! Perfect Roman apartment with plenty of room!The accommodations are beyond any hotel you will stay at in Rome and you are staying within ancient Rome. Gian helped us plan our stay and his recommendations for restaurants and using Petites Promenades and Sylvia were "spot on" for a cooking class, catacombs tour and day trip to Napoli and Pompei! He also helped arrange transportation to and from the airport which was so appreciated.We definitely look forward to returning!

Wonderful Stay

My family had a lovely time in Rome staying at Gian and Christina’s beautiful and authentic apartment. The location, while quite busy, was conveniently located to many of the sights of the city, and Petites Promenades (introduced and recommended by our hosts) was a great resource for tours and experiences—very high quality guides, and a very fun Italian cooking class. We were also grateful for Gian’s TLC in arranging for car service for my family—very helpful in a city where taxi access is more difficult. The curated guidebook in the living room was also a helpful resource for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay in Rome!

We loved our stay at this fantastic property! The location is perfect for touring Rome, and the apartment itself and the views are amazing. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking Trajan's Column. It is perfect for families and is truly a unique property. We can't recommend it enough.

Luxurious Apartment in Wonderful Location with Great Views and Amazing Hosts

Our family has stayed in many VRBO properties and can affirmatively say that it is the most luxurious and comfortable apartment we have stayed in. The apartment is immaculate, and they provided a cleaning service halfway through our stay. It is beautifully decorated, and you immediately feel immersed into the Italian/Roman culture and at home. Everything is very well appointed - bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Spacious living room to relax in. Great laundry room and they have plenty of umbrellas if needed, as well as phone chargers and adapters. Our hosts made sure to have water bottles in the fridge, coffee ready to go and breakfast items for us to eat. The location could not be better. 10 to 20 minutes walking from most major monuments (the Roman Forum is right in front of the apartment) and we walked everywhere. The location is also in a safe part of town - day or night. Our hosts were incredible and went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular. They helped us book drivers from and to the airport, put us in touch with an amazing Tour Company (Silvia and Elena at Petites Promenades were wonderful and their guides were fantastic). They also provided us with a list of amazing restaurants that people in Rome (not tourists) go to and they did not disappoint my husband and I, who are true foodies. They also have a wonderful suggestion book in the apartment that is very thorough. We will definitely rent this apartment again next time we are in Rome!

Gorgeous apartment in unbeatable location, amazing host and MAGNIFICENT VIEW!!!!

The Location & view:It was our 3rd time visiting Rome, and Gian & Cristina’s apartment made this visit the most exquisite experience of all! (we had stayed at St. Regis previously) The location is surreal - we didn’t realize the apartment is literally in the middle of historical Trajan’s square until we arrived there. It was truly an ideal location because all the major sites were within walking distance but it is not in the midst of hustle and bustle of craziness. Instead, there is wide open square in front of you with the incredible view. I knew that it has gorgeous view from the photos I had seen online, but it was way more magnificent in person! Waking up to such a view really made me soaking up being in Rome. The apartment:It was not only beautiful and comfortable, but was also filled with thoughtfully curated books and pictures of Rome and Italy, some telling stories that I had never known - I lost track of time going through them! Gian and Cristina even made their own book with photographs of Rome during the Corona Virus pandemic! Their love for Rome was so evident in every corner of the home. We also appreciated the thoughtful snacks and drinks they provided.The owners:Gian and Cristina were so pleasant and super responsive before and during the stay helping us with arranging tours, cooking class, and car services. We felt so well supported by them! This apartment is truly a gem - we highly recommend!!!

Hosts were fabulous the views from the apartment or exactly what we had hoped. They organized golf trips for us with Emmanuel, who was amazing and a ride to the airport. They recommended restaurants. Very, very nice stay We look forward to coming back

Amazing Apartment In Rome

I highly recommend this apartment in Rome! Communication with the owner before, during, and even after our stay was excellent. The apartment matched the description perfectly and is situated right in the heart of Rome. We were able to walk everywhere over three days, including the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and fantastic shopping and dining options. We even walked back from the Vatican! Gian recommended Petites Promenades for private tours of the Colosseum and Vatican, and our guide, Barbara, was fantastic. The apartment itself is beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the balcony over Trajan's Forum and the monument to Victor Emmanuel II was breathtaking. All the amenities worked perfectly. The air conditioning, washer, and dryer were particularly convenient. We can't say enough good things about this apartment and host. If you're planning a trip to Rome, stay here—you will love it!

Luxury with the “Soul of Rome”

I wish every place we stayed in Europe had the authenticity of this lovely home. It was clean and incredibly comfortable. I loved cuddling up on the soft sofas. If you are American and want your Netflix…bring an hdmi cable and the iPhone connector. Worked perfectly. We sat on the balcony morning and evening and enjoyed the view and the people. The “pirate” below was quite entertaining. The cafe just up the street was our morning coffee/croissant stop. Almost everything is an easy walk! I highly recommend contacting Luca with Mini Rome Tours for an amazing evening in his vintage mini Cooper! Thank you again to Gina and Christina for your wonderful hospitality and opening up your beautiful home for guests. Truly memorable

Great place in Rome

This property was accurately listed. The apartment is on the 4th floor of an historic palace in Rome. There was an elevator which came in handy with getting our luggage to the apartment. There was plenty of space to spread out and have some room. The air conditioning worked well which was nice since Rome was extremely hot. The property is about 15 minutes from all the major attractions we were visiting.

Authentic Roman experience, excellent location, and wonderful hosts

This was our first time as a family to Italy and it did not disappoint. Our host Gian and his wife Cristiana were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our trip and wonderful hosts while we were there. We truly felt like family as they extended what use to be their home to our family for the week. The location was perfect and the terrace gave us beautiful views enjoy a nice Italian glass of wine and look out over the Trajan Forum. Best VRBO Stay Ever

The property was even better than the pictures on VRBO. Gian, the owner arranged for transportation for our group of six from the train station and to the cruise port. He made every effort to make our stay first class. He had breakfast snacks for us, candies and bottled water. The view of the Roman Forum from our bedroom was incredible. We were right beside the Victor Emmanuel Monument. A great location for sure. When we return to Rome we hope to stay here again. We cannot say enough nice things about this property.

Superb stay; highly recommend

Our family of four stayed at this beautiful villa for three nights in June. What made our stay exceptional was the generosity and kindness of our hosts, Cristina and Gian. Well before our arrival, they helped us book tours, restaurants and transportation. They welcomed us personally when we arrived and gave a thorough introduction to the spacious and immaculate villa and helpful advice regarding our itinerary. Gian kindly made last minute restaurant reservations for us. The kitchen had breakfast items for the next day, cold water in the refrigerator and a couple of bottles of wine. It was very hot in Rome during our visit, and it was truly a joy and relief to return to our centrally located, air-conditioned and well-appointed villa. Thank you, Cristina and Gian, for our superb stay.

Is this the perfect Rome apartment

We were able to snag this apartment for a four day stay with our two college age girls for their first trip exploring Rome and we couldn't be more pleased. The location of the apartment is ridiculous- the photos do not lie- it is in the middle of everything. Steps outside put you in the heart of the city. Yet, somehow, it was quiet and peaceful inside. The apartment is immaculate and our host, Gian had thoughtfully made it feel like a luxe hotel- Frette robes, treats in the kitchen, a bottle of wine, etc. And he couldn't have been nicer, helping with transportation and great advice for nearby restaurants and bakeries. We will definitely book again when we return to Rome in the future and are recommending this apartment to all of our friends who will be travelling there. Grazie Mille!

Beautiful home

The listing was very accurate. It was in a beautiful area with major tourist attractions close by as well as outstanding restaurants. The check-in process was excellent and everything was clean. Comfortable beds, great choice of coffee, and snacks upon arrival, etc. Would stay there again

Luxury and Hospitality in the heart of Rome

If you have the opportunity and the means you must stay at this carefully curated home in an ideal area in Rome. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and can easily say this is the best so far. The home itself is spectacular, truly a home, with Italian and historical features which put you in the Italian holiday mood. Everything is provided, from ultra comfortable beds to fabulous toiletries and kitchenware. In addition, everything is spotless. The location could not be better and we walked everywhere. The Roman Forum is at the doorstep, with the Colosseum very close, Trevi Fountain etc all within walking distance. Even with all these features, my family all agreed the best part of the stay is the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts, Gian and Cristina. They are so kind and go above and beyond to make your stay spectacular, as ours was! A big thank you to them for all the planning and arranging of tours, for answering all our (ignorant?) questions and for being the most amazing ambassadors in Rome. No exaggeration in any of this, truly a wonderful VRBO stay.

Perfect Home Away from Home in the Heart of Ancient Rome!

This is without a doubt the perfect home from which to explore all that Rome has to offer. The location could not be more beautiful, with windows and a balcony overlooking Trajan's Forum, it is an easy walk to the Forum, Palatine Hill, the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The home is exquisitely appointed, and every last detail has been thought about to ensure guests have everything they need to settle in. The hosts, Gian and Christina, are gracious and welcoming, as if you were beloved relatives coming for a visit. If you want to immerse yourself in Rome and live like a local, you cannot do better than this wonderful home.
