  • COMPLETELY RENEWED IN JANUARY 2026, BRAND NEW KITCHEN, NEW BATHROOMS Ciao Bella apartment is situated within a short walk from the Coliseum and the Basilica of S. M. Maggiore, where hospitality and friendship will frame your stay in this lovely apartment in the historical center of Rome.
    Located 500 meters from the Colosseum, surrounded by the historic park of Colle Oppio and the Domus Aurea, is well connected to other cultural and shopping areas as it’s very close to the Metro stops Line A, B and Termini Train Station.

    The Ciao Bella is located on the 2nd floor of an old historic building, with elevator from the mezzanine. There are two large bedrooms, that can host up to 5 people, each with ensuite facilities and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Pls note that the second bathroom is a service bathroom with shower, bathroom sink and a wc with pump.
    The kitchen compliments beautifully the two bedrooms.
    In the apartment you’ll find many services: free wireless internet access, LCD TV, fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms with showers, A/C, plus washing machine.

    Overnight accomodation tax in rome is not included, 6 euros per person per night max 10 days (kids up to 10 yo don't pay the tax)

El apartamento, estupendo. Igual que en las fotos. Ha sido fantastico. Estaba muy cerca de todo.No hemos tenido que coger bus. Ibamos andando a todos los sitios. Florianne es una escelente anfitriona. Para nosotros ha sido de 10 todo.

Great apartment within easy walk of the Colosseum and Basilica of St Mary Major, with close access to the Metro to get further afield. Check-in was amazingly easy with Floriana and the kitchen had everything you would need. However, plenty of good restaurants close too! If you need gluten-free, would recommend Benso 215 on Via Giovanni Lanza. We would definitely stay again!!

Lovely apartment in great location

The location is great; 20 minute walk from Roma Termini, 15 minutes to Colosseum, 7 minutes to a metro station. The apartment is spacious, and kitchen is well stocked and bright. Very walkable neighborhood with many restaurants and grocery stores. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Rome!

Emplacement excellent

Nous avons passé un très bon week end dans l'appartement de Floriana. Elle a été très disponible et très arrangeante pour notre arrivée. La literie est très bien et l'emplacement parfait pour visiter la ville. Je recommande. Merci Floriana.

Great central Esquilino area location to explore the sites and experience local culture. We were there for the Rome Marathon and it was a great choice. Floriana was is a super host and very helpful and responsive for us first timers to Rome. Apartment close to shopping, parks, train stations, restaurants and gelato shops. Safe area despite Rome’s graffiti problem. Loved the courtyard and clothesline ! Both bathrooms have showers but no tub as mentioned in listing fyi. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Washing machine nice touch. Will stay here again when in Rome. Nice theatre on the corner too! Ciao!

Wonderful place to stay!

The apartment was just perfect! Spotlessly clean and very spacious. I traveled with my daughter and best friend so having 2 full shower rooms was great. Everything that you could need is there, the kitchen is cute, functional-although we didn’t use it-but the fridge freezer got a workout…must keep all the wine you buy cold after all!! Was great having a small balcony off the kitchen. Elevator was very useful and much appreciated! It’s in a lovely neighbourhood, surrounded by wonderful cafes, a grocery store just 3 min walk away, in fact there is a small grocer right next to the main entrance. Just a few steps away is an Opera house for those interested. We walked to the apartment as waiting for a cab at termini was just crazy but the walk was easy and only took 15 mins. There is a main bus line just around the corner as well as the metro just a little further. We walked to the Colosseum quite easily, 10/15 min stroll. If you are happy to walk, you can go anywhere! We used a cab company quite a bit…quick & easy to use. Download an app freenow, works sort of like most of us know “Uber”. Floriana was quick in sending details of how to get to the apt. In fact arranged for someone else to meet us with keys as she was unable to do so. Always responded to any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!!

Location, Safe, Good price

This apartment was what we we’re looking for while visiting Rome with a family of 5. It is located within walking distance of many amazing places to eat, shop and explore. (Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, many churches). Communication was good with the host. Things to know: this apartment is charming and well secure behind 3 separate locking doors. The plumbing in Italy can be hit and miss with where you can and can’t flush your toilet paper. This has don’t flush it plumbing. This apartment does not come with hand soap for the restrooms or laundry soap. The on suite restroom in the queen bedroom is very small. The only place to set anything is a baby shelf. No counter space or place to set anything besides a bar of soap in the shower. If you are very large you will need to use the other restroom. I read reviews before booking my reservation. I knew in advance that others had stated showers had mold. I figured that would mean it was something host would pay close attention to. Showers are still moldy, I can see why it’s a problem keeping up with though because of lack of ventilation. Also, there’s city tax per person per night and your supposed to leave it before you go. Don’t forget, I forgot and still trying to figure out how to make it right.

600 metres to the Colosseum !!

Great location so close to Colosseum. One metro stop from Roma Termini railway station. The master bedroom was beautiful, traditional classic Italian. The prints on the walls were beautiful. But I did not appreciate going on holiday. to... - Slide around on a broken toilet seat - Carry out the previous tenants garbage to the recycling point 50metres down the road - Empty some other person''s laundery from the washing machine and dump it -Attempt to clean a disgustingly stained shower curtain in the main bathroom -Clean a very dirty shower in the en suite -the kitchen draining boardcwas disgusting the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Also I bought the ingredients to prepare dinner only to find the owner had not provided a gas lighter or matches. How annoying. I did complain to the part owner who said she could send round a cleaner....(that should have been done before we arrived) but I said no because I had ckeaned up the mess by then..but I could not fix the broken toiket seat. When I arrived home I contacted the owner to request that one nights fee should be refunded to me. (We stayed 4 nights). She refused saying she had offered a cleaner but missed the point that I had cleaned up by then. I must admit this has really annoyed me, particularly as all our other accomodation in Italy was perfect. Perhaps Vrbo could supply me with a fair refund of one night

L'appartement est extrêmement bien localisé, proche du Colisée et des transports bus&métro. Petit Bémol sur les voisins bruyants la nuit.

An amazing place to stay in the heart of Rome!

We LOVED this place! It was in a convenient location, only about a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum and within about a 25-minute walk of almost everywhere else we wanted to go. For things that are farther away, there is a bus stop around the corner and the metro station is less than 10 minutes away. Located nearby are a grocery store, bakery, several restaurants, a park, and massage therapy. The apartment itself is absolutely lovely. Each bedroom had ample space, the kitchen was stocked with all necessary tools, and there were bathroom samples in case you had forgotten shampoo or soap. Floriana was a fantastic host! Her emails were always prompt and easy to understand, and she went above and beyond to help us schedule massages for the day we arrived in Rome. The lady who met us at the apartment was even kind enough to walk with us to the spa and introduce us. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

Great location, responsive owner.

We stay there for 4 nights. We were running around everyday and were only at the property to sleep and shower. The second bathroom's toilet was not working while we were there. Floriana apologized for the inconvenience. She was very responsive to our emails and calls. Florina's friend who met us to give us the keys was helpful. She gave us a map of Rome and marked a few locations for us on the map. Phenomenal location! There is a mini market right outside of the front door, a restaurant a few steps away, theatre across the street, and in <10 min walk, there are lots of restaurants/cafes/gelato/shops. It took us about 15 min to walk to Termini station and 10 min to walk to the Colosseum.

Schöne Wohnung in ruhiger und zentraler Lage

Wir waren sehr zufrieden: Die Wohnung ist geräumig (2 Badezimmer) mit voll ausgestatteter Küche und sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt (nicht weit vom Bahnhof, nahe am Kolosseum). Die Vermieterin war sehr nett, wir fühlten uns schon beim ersten E-Mail-Kontakt willkommen. Positiv zu erwähnen sind auch das WLAN und die gute Wohngegend mit Restaurants um die Ecke . Wir (wir waren zu dritt) würden sofort wieder im Ciao Bella Apartment übernachten und können es definitiv weiterempfehlen.
