Maria personally met us at Municipio I, and my husband and I walked into a sunny, bright and modernized space. The apartment is just like in the pictures, but also has tall ceilings and beautiful views of the courtyard, especially from the bedroom. What a location!!
It's immaculately clean and has lots of electrical outlets, so no juggling phone and battery recharging (we really appreciated the loan of the adapter). The kitchen is attractive and we took advantage of the coffee makers and breakfast start-up kit provided.
This apartment was a perfect size for my husband and me, and having been on the road for weeks, used the front room for our open suitcases and lounging (tv & reading), but there are 2 armoires for hanging clothes - I didn't see drawers for folded clothes, but didn't look very hard, so if you need that, ask when you book.
The bathroom is roomy and the sink has plenty of room for 2 people's toiletries, as well as a small piece of furniture next to it which was great for my hair brushes. The hair dryer is super powerful, so I could get out to beautiful Rome fast.
The only downsides were that the water pressure often dropped, which I'm sure is because of the building Also, the maid left an odd assortment of towels, with just one bath sized towel for the 2 of us. The bed gave us a good sleep, but had kind of an odd mattress.
Booking was easy, and throughout the months ahead, Maria was responsive and helpful, especially with reservations. The communications were clear and getting into the secure building easy. To the end, Maria ordered the perfect car for our ride back to the airport - large enough to hold our big luggage, on time, clean and kind, all for the price of a cab.
It's on a little semi-pedestrian street, so despite being in the heart of the lively Pantheon area, is quiet. We frequent Rome, and this stay has shifted us to the Pantheon neighborhood for our next stay. This apartment is 1/2 a block from a circle with lots of city buses, and walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, bars and sites.
What a wonderful stay!
