The apartment itself was cute, had lots of space and was clean. The woman who handled our check-in and pre-stay communication was not friendly, however. It could maybe be just a cultural difference, but with a full 3 weeks before our stay she was urgently demanding our arrival details as quickly as possible. Since my son and I would be traveling to Rome to meet my husband who was there on business, I made the reservation in my husband's name so that he could check in while my son and I were en route on the plane. When he arrived, the woman was very annoyed that all 3 of us weren't there (nowhere in the details we were sent did it say that this was a requirement), and she was annoyed that he didn't have all our passports with him (also not listed in the check-in details...it just said to bring an identifying document, and he had his driver's license with him). Luckily I was on a layover and was able to send him pictures of my and my son's passport. When the check-in meeting stretched to 20 minutes because my husband had to find a picture of his passport (which was still back at the hotel he hadn't checked out of yet), she got very irritated that it was "taking so long." So, low stars for unfriendly staff. The building itself has a very small elevator, so be advised that if you have large bags, you may only be able to fit 1 bag and 1 person in there at a time. Otherwise, apartment is on the 5th floor with lots of stairs.
