Spent 7 nights at the apartment…
Pros: charming, historical apartment with antique furniture and art. Kitchen well equipped, big windows in bedrooms and kitchen, lovely little balcony off kitchen. Beds and bedding comfortable and cozy. Building has a one person elevator(lift). Property manager was readily available in the end.
Cons: in need of TLC overall, living room furniture old, living room carpet needs to be cleaned, kitchen equipment e.g. chipped plates, old saucepans. Water pressure very slow, took about 10 minutes to get hot water in showers and bathroom sinks. Only one window in living room so dark even during the day. About 6 flights of stair to reach apartment. Entrance door lock to building is broken so building is not secure. Entrance lane to building very dark, needs better lighting. Property manager was slow to respond in the beginning as the fridge had not being defrosted properly prior to our arrival and had to deal with water all over kitchen floor the first day we arrived. He also was sending someone to check out the hot water issue and we waited the entire morning to learn the technician was dealing with an emergency and didn’t know when he could come. We decided not to waste the rest of the day waiting, and accepted the issue. Property manager said it would be dealt with after our stay. They are not on WhatsApp either.
We enjoyed to uniqueness of the apartment and our time there for the most part but would probably not stay again.
