"We had a fantastic stay. Returning to PEI to rent a cottage for a week was a dream trip we have considered for so long and I am so glad we chose this place. It is in a very peaceful area, away from it all. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. Out host, Anne, was very responsive to messages and questions. We had cosy beds, a wonderful kitchen, and we had the most spectacular view. The main floor was very accessible. We hope to return one day!"

"Our stay was absolutely incredible - the house and beach were even better than the photos. The host, Amanda, has thought of everything you could possibly need, and has curated a beautiful home with really nice items and products to use. The location is close to really great beaches, like Greenwich and Basin Head, and a quick drive into Souris for groceries. "The Purple House is a wonderful place to stay. Having the wharf right there was great. Watching the fishing boats coming in, the beautiful sunsets and the ability to see the tide come in was a great experience.The house is full of history. "As always, an absolutely dreamlike place — poetic in every way, with the sea just steps away and the beach becoming our children’s playground. It’s a haven of peace and relaxation where we instantly felt at home, lulled by the sound of the waves. Truly a gem on the shore, and one we cannot recommend highly enough."

"Spacious, clean, comfortable, modern beach house with exceptionally well–equipped gourmet kitchen.Peaceful/relaxing and oh..that spectacular view!Had a wonderful time with our family of four but could easily accommodate more than twice that many.We especially enjoyed the screened-in decks with the provided binoculars for bird/wildlife watching.Alex was a good host and we would gladly stay there again without hesitation!"
