We celebrated 40 years of marriage in this beautiful cottage by the sea and could not have been happier. The view was to die for from the deck, the living room and bedroom. And the stairs that led down to the water was the most stunning view!! Especially for sunsets and when the full moon was out. The beach was dessertsed with just the two of us and we sat out everyday swimming and enjoying the view. The area is on the north end of the island and is very quiet and secluded, which is what we were looking for. There are nearby restaurants and stores for supplies. Shoreline was our favorite place to eat. The cottage was very clean, well maintained and had anything you could ask for in amenities. There were nice beach chairs, blow up floats, snorkel gear, plenty of beach towels as well as towels, wash clothes for the bathroom. Also lots of extra bed linens. It was fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, spices for the kitchen etc...we will definitely stay with Sofia again when we return to Exuma...you just can't get better than this! Alan & Kim

We just returned from our trip. We highly recommend staying here! It’s a wonderful house with a fantastic view! They provide just about anything you would need. You should probably rent a car since the house is located on the far end of the island away, depending on what all you want to do. Large deck accessible from the living room and also the bedroom. Large shower! Hopefully we’ll return someday!

Point of View is a gem of a place! Just an amazing property. On a beautiful beach, clean and comfortable house. Great kitchen. We went to Ava’s a few times for their fresh baked bread, makes for amazing French toast! Going in the off season we something I have never done before, no one was on the beaches. It was like our own island. I would definitely come back. Really liked being away from the main tourist areas. We lived it!

Amazing stay!

This was our first trip to Exuma, and after staying at Point of View, we’re already planning our return. My husband and I have stayed in countless rental properties around the world, and this one easily ranks in our top three. It’s the kind of hidden gem you almost don’t want others to find, so it stays as peaceful and private as it is now. (But here I am, writing a review. lol)We spent our mornings swimming and snorkeling right off the beach in front of the house, especially heading north toward the pier and along the rock wall by the Point of View sandbar. At night, we loved stargazing from the deck and even spotted the Milky Way, absolutely magical!The house is beautifully equipped with everything you need to unwind and soak it all in.Other highlights included snorkeling at Three Sisters and renting a boat from Minn’s for the day, highly recommend! We truly can’t wait to come back.

This is a beautiful property! It’s in a very secluded area that allows complete privacy! It’s about a 40 min drive into town but it’s not a bad drive at all since they repaved all the roads over the last few years. We loved our stay and will be back!

Perfect little place for a quiet couples vacation

Sophia communicated well and provided recommendations ahead of time, inside the home, and verbally when we saw her during our stay. She was quick to resolve very minor issues (we are very understanding when something unexpected happens, it’s all about how it’s managed). If you’re looking to be close to stores and restaurants, this isn’t your place to stay. If you’re willing to plan ahead and do most of your meals at the house or eat early and get back during daylight when it’s easier to see the roads, this won’t bother you. It’s 100% worth it to sit on the beach in front of the house with nobody in sight. We loved the beach just around the corner from the house (a few people but definitely not crowded) and a slightly busier beach a short drive away. We preferred this end of the island to the busier side. Would 100% stay here again.

Peaceful and Breathtaking

This was the perfect size cottage for me and my husband and the deck was big! The views and sounds of the ocean were so peaceful and breathtaking. The location was nice and remote, you will definitely want to rent a car, but driving to the stores and restaurants never felt like an inconvenience

Clean and tidy with everything you need for 2 people. The view is amazing , need a car as its at the ens of the island and get your food and drinks before heading out. We didint mind the drive at all, great way to see the island .
