We really enjoyed staying at this house. I loved sitting on the porch and all the sunlight and lovely view in the dining area. My kids loved the big yard space. It felt peaceful and relaxing. This house does sorta sit between 2 schools, but I did not find it to be loud. It is in a good area, and for us was very close to family we were in town visiting. I will say this is a legit old farmhouse. Lots of original wood and doorknobs and charm. I love that. But if you prefer new non squeaky floors this may not be for you. I also appreciated how easy it was to get in touch with the host and how responsive she was. Super helpful! We would stay here again

Excellent Cozy location near Rolla

We were going to MS&T graduation and this location was just miles from the graduation. We had a couple issues up front but the property had seen some damage due to Tornado in April 2025 so they were still getting everything back in order. Decor was very appropriate and property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would utilize next time.

Great house , awful communication

House was nice as described. Host communication left a lot to be desired. Took 2 weeks to answer date change request. Knew we did not stay on first night. Never gave refund. Blamed it on VRBO. I had to ask for entry code with more than one email.

Family/S&T Visit

House has great location to center of Rolla/S&T. Clean, spacious and good air conditioning. Nice front porch. Good space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Enjoyed our stay

Good for a small group or family

You get what you expect in an old farmhouse. I stayed there for a week with a couple and a business associate while we taught a workshop. The master suite was nice. The additional upstairs bedroom with two twin beds is best suited to kids, since there is not another bath upstairs. The downstairs bedroom was once a parlor, which means there is no dresser or closet and you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom (which I shared with my colleague who slept upstairs but used the downstairs bath rather than impose on the couple). Once you get used to the arrangement of beds and baths, the house was comfortable and we had a good week. I read previous reviews that talked about the traffic (the house is next to an elementary school) but we had no issues with traffic or noise.

Team bonding

Being able for our team to stay in a house together instead of separate hotel rooms gave us a chance to play games and enjoy each other's company more. We had a great time and loved the beauty of the house.

Perfect for us!

We enjoyed a long weekend of golf and fugitive beach. Location was convenient to everything. Loved playing wiffle ball w the kids in the yard enjoyed the fire pit and grill. Stocked w all necessities. Host was excellent getting back to us, and accomodating when asked for an extra night.

The house was perfect for visiting with my family.

The only thing is VRBO screws you with pricing. Over 600 for 1 night is extreme for Rolla! Sleeps 8 for x amount. Then when you add people it raises its price so only my husband and I stayed the night! Love the house and would rent again but not for that price!

Updated Farm House

The home exceeded our expectations! With a lot of room both inside and out, add charm and history, we very much enjoyed our stay. Close to S &T and convenient to all Rolla has to offer, it's a great option for a quiet, reconnecting stay.

Charming farmhouse

Very roomy charming older farmhouse with a wrap around porch that was very well decorated and clean. We had a great family getaway. Our 3 yr old grandson did not want to leave. Location was not what we expected but was close to lots of restaurants and activities in the area.

The home has been renovated beautifully. It has plenty of space to do whatever! Only downfall is it's very close to an elementary school and busy roads, so not always quiet.

We have a wonderful reading retreat. We thought the house would be a little farther out of town but it wasn’t to bad. Kitchen was pretty well stocked.. the can opener needs replaced that was a struggle. We would reccomend

Quiet historic neighborhood with charm

Our family of six stayed 3 nights in this charming historic property and it did not disappoint. Everything you expected but have never experienced is true with this home. Built during the Civil War in America with lots of charm. Appliances and amenities updated for a comfy stay. Owner (Michele) was very professional and courteous to our inquiries before and after our stay. Check in/Check out was simple. We took family photos on the large porch and on site gazebo. The tire swing was an amazing added touch for the kids during our stay. The fire pit brought out much needed conversations with our kids which was long overdue. I recommend this property for anyone.
