Had a lovely stay but was disappointed when the basement toilet became blocked on Sunday 27th August , communication was poor and from then till leaving the matter was not resolved 2 adults and 2 very young children slept in the basement and having no facilities for nearly a week was very inconvenient and meant having to use toilet upstairs in the middle of the night and having to take showers etc is not good enough.We were informed that a plumber was coming which took 3 days then to be told it was a specialised part that was needed , last communication explained it may be Thursday or Friday however it never happened and no further communication was made with us, either to further update us or even to check as a courtesy to see how we were managing and we feel let down .Overall the property is really nice and we do understand unexpected things can happen the duty of care was very poor in respect of the toilet issue.
