The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years.   • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

We had the best stay ever! Terrapin Station was delightful! It was so nice to have the activity area right with the family gathering space…that way we were always all together. Everything was available and convenient. And, you can’t beat the location! I would highly recommend this property!

Terrapin Station is situated on the edge of the gorge with an incredible view. We each had our own bedroom which was great. The kitchen is well stocked and the place was clean. The Grateful Dead theme was icing on the cake for this group of older guys who saw the Dead back in the day. I recommend Terrapin Station!

Terrapin Station

We had an amazing stay for an adult family vacation! The views off the back deck are stunning. The beds were nice and comfortable. Plenty of room for us 9 adults. Easily accessible roads to the cabin. Saw several deer and rabbits every morning on our walks. Close to several attractions. We kayaked the Gorge Underground, drive side by sides with Out The Top Adventures and hiked to the Natural Bridge. All were amazing; although the hike to the Natural Bridge is only one mile, it’s pretty much all uphill with stairs or slippery rocks but was great. The hosts with RRG Getaways were always accessible and responded quickly to any questions. Would definitely choose to stay here again!

House was decent , not horrible, few issues were we seen several mice throughout the house- had to put all our food in plastic totes. Pinball machine was broke, grill was charcoal not propane like we were told, cleaners were still there til 5 and they made us wait when we were there to check in a 4. Once again, the house wasn’t the worst but definitely not the best. Needs a little bit more love and attention.

Beautiful place, we couldn't have asked for more!

We loved the entire house so much! It was spacious and comfortable and perfect in every way! The view was so pretty and loved the outdoor area of the property. Enjoyed the hot tub so much it was very clean and hot for us when we arrived. Our girls trip was perfect, so happy we chose this place. We will be back to rent this one again with family.

Family visit

My siblings brought our parents down here as they honeymooned at natural bridge 58 years ago. The cabin was elderly friendly with ramps and minimal steps to get in and out . Beautiful views and perfect set up with the fire pit. In close driving range to the major attractions and restaurants.

Great view and location

Great view and clean house. Just a few issues. We could not control the thermostat to make house warmer - it was locked at 69 up stairs and 72 in family room. We had some cool evenings. TV in family room had issues with Roku that didn’t get resolved but it was ok because we had plenty of entertainment with the pool table. The five bedrooms was a huge plus. Note this property does not stock a beginner set of coffee or filters. The fireplace isn’t finished with gas connection u til Jan All in all great stay - perfect for people with mobility issues as there are handicap ramps!

GREAT FAMILY TIME

Had A great time. Went for family reunion that got cancled due to weather. We were stuck in the house for 2 days. There was enough to keep us all happy. Kids loved being able to play pool and the pinball game. We will be using this cabin again for next years reunion.

The house was amazing

The house was amazing, but we had a bee problem. One guest got stung twice, one in her own bed and the other time in her room picking up her pillows off of the floor. the last morning when we got up there were about 15 to 20 on the kitchen and living room wall. We killed bees Everday.

Beautiful view, clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Only 1 complaint and that was that only one of the pinball machines worked which was a little disappointing for the 3 little guys.

Great Cabin in RRG!

Great cabin, great location! This was a clean home with excellent amenities and fantastic views of the gorge valley. Cabin only provides 1 towel per person, which was difficult with a house full o.peoplepeople.every room filled.

Great cabin!

We visited RRG for a weekend to relax, hike, and enjoy ourselves. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and nice. We enjoyed sitting on the deck bird watching, and sitting around the fire pit at night.

Guys Trip 24' was a success!

We had a group of 6 guys in our 40s and 50s. The cabin worked great for us! The view off the back deck is amazing! Just a short drive to all the attractions near-by. The icing on the cake was the tie to the grateful dead. 4 of the 6 of us are big dead fans and it was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others and will probably be back there myself in the future. Thank you Terrapin Station!
