Your hosts live on site, but not in the booked accommodation. Horses, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs live on the property. Holidays with your own horse are possible. Riding opportunities are available on site and extend into Denmark. The location is quiet and idyllic. Rodenäs is the northwesternmost municipality on the German mainland, close to Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, and the Danish island of Rømø. Excursions to Denmark, the islands, cycling and hiking tours, fishing ponds, mudflat walks, birdwatching, museums, heated outdoor pool, and natural swimming spots are all within reach.
