Sea Glass was exactly as described. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and comfortable bed. The property was nice and in a great location. The sunrises on the beach were lovely. You can walk to the other side of Hwy 12 and see a beautiful sunset, get a pizza, and ice cream. It was only the two of us, but it would be perfect for a small family. The owner was wonderful to work with. We would stay here again.

Outstanding Outer Banks Lodging!

The property was 5 all the way and we look forward to returning in the future. Other reviews all attested to its exemplary status and Sea Glass did not disappoint one bit. The owners were responsive and informative; the property was clean and spacious and the beach access was perfect. We appreciated the large kitchen/living area including the bar seating and the L-shaped sectional (with pull-out bed). Additionally, we were grateful for a fully stocked kitchen that has more than you need; beach supplies/chairs and extra towels and blankets as well. We enjoyed staying on this quiet part of Outer Banks. We took a day-trip to Ocracoke Island and enjoyed the visit, but do plan to leave early (by 9a for sure) as its nearly 3 hours to get there with drive, wait for the boat and the ride itself. But well worth it - sandy beaches and a nice brewery (1718) and other restaurants in town. Also, if you stay at Sea Glass, plan to visit Watermen's Bar & Grill just down the road for great beer, food and views of sunset. You won't be disappointed there or with any other part of your stay! We can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The area was fabulous, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. Traveling with two elderly parents was a breeze thanks to the convenien elevator outside the door and the nearby walkway to the beach. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some fantastic places to visit and dine. We truly look forward to booking again soon.

Ray & Edna are angels and my sister and I knew in our hearts we were in a little piece of heaven. There’s little space here to describe our experience; in any event, you would stop reading before I could finish. We felt like we were at home for the first time in our lives and we both cried when we had to leave. The Blum’s were very thoughtful in their decor and we would stay there forever if we could. It really felt like home to us and it will be that way for you, as well. We love you Ray & Edna and are grateful you shared this little slice of heaven with us. Love, Kim and Kay.

This was our second stay at Sea Glass. We love it! Ray is awesome to work with. We definitely hope to visit the area and stay at Sea Glass again. The elevator on the property was not working when we were there recently but we needed the exercise. Great little place to stay.

We loved staying in Rodanthe away from the hustle and bustle of the northern Outer Banks. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the sofa was very comfortable as well as the bed. Sea Glass was very tastefully decorated and it was great to be only minutes from the beach.

Above expectations

This was truly a home away from home. Many places I stay I find there is always something missing I wish I had brought with me (cork screw, can opener, thermos, wrong coffee filters, etc.) we had all these things and more. An air fryer great for leftovers, lots of beach towels, cabana for the beach, coolers large and small and truly steps from the beach. We will definitely look for an opportunity to come back!
