Awesome little condo! This was the first time visiting the outer banks . The location was very quiet from it being off season. I could see dolphins from the balcony .

The kitchen lacked nothing. The views were breathtaking. We went to relax and that is exactly what we did. Easy check in and check out process. Property owners were very accommodating and very helpful.

Unit is beautiful. Unfortunately we came when a storm came. So we didn’t get to enjoy the beach or fishing. Terrible rain and wind. We left a day early before they closed the road.

Views in the pictures are exactly what you're getting with this unit, you are literally 30 yards from the beach. It's somewhat isolated, so you aren't fighting for space to setup your canopy or umbrella, and, at least when I went there during the last week of August, you aren't worried about anyone coming along and stealing your belongings if you're in the ocean for more than 5 minutes by yourself. Take from that statement what you will.As for the unit itself, overall it was good, just a couple of small issues but nothing that would ruin your vacation at all. Pictures and description match exactly what you're getting. Only major issue was one of the oven burners not operating properly on the oven as of 8/29/25, but given how responsive Charlie was, I'd say he'll get that fixed. Speaking of which, Charlie was excellent on the communication side, my stay was right after Erin came through off the coast and boogered things up for the Outer Banks. That could have made for a lousy experience, but it was anything but. Only other downside to the unit is also an upside: you're on the first floor, so you've got neighbors above you. If they've got heavy footsteps, you'll hear them. On the plus side...you're on the first floor, so getting to and from the unit is easy, and you're RIGHT next to the pool, which is awesome. Pool was well maintained and the staff member doing the cleaning knew her stuff. She's 100%. Overall, the good outweighed any issues by far.

Wish we had longer ... after only 36 hours at the property we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Erin. Charles was wonderful calling me and helping me devise a route back to where we could catch a flight home. He eased us through this experience. We will try to make it back here again and would definintely stay at this condo again.

A great trip

Fall getaway

We booked Hatteras Heaven for a family getaway and everything was amazing. We found plenty of things to do in the area and enjoyed our evenings on the porch taking in the ocean view. The sounds of the waves crashing was just what we needed. Great condo that included everything we needed. Highly recommend the fish tacos at Buxton Munch. Definitely worth the drive.

Wonderful place to stay!

We got together with friends for a quick getaway. Hatteras Heaven was an amazing choice and we would stay there again anytime! The dolphin show was one of our favorite highlights and you can't beat the sunrise!

Winter Break

We spent a few days here as a winter getaway. The property was bright, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the deck looking out over the ocean. We spent much time there watching the dolphins and listening to the waves. It was the perfect place to spend some time away.

CHRISTMAS GETAWAY

It was everything we dreamed it would be! Charlie was very responsive to any questions I had before the visit and included a very detailed handbook (online) about pretty much everything. We were blessed to see daily sunsets and sunrises which was a bonus.
