The location of this property is perfect—while not directly on the beach, it is just one house back with great views and a very short walk to the beach.Unfortunately, the stay itself was disappointing. We were notified two days prior to arrival that the pool was not working, which we understood. However, we were not informed that major repairs would take place during our stay. For four days, there was constant noise from sawing, cutting, and ongoing traffic from work crews, making it difficult to relax.Upon arrival, we also discovered the entry door would not lock. Despite contacting management and attempting their suggested fix, the issue required a full replacement, forcing us to adjust our plans to accommodate the repair.There was also a strong rodent odor on the first floor, and we found multiple signs of infestation. Pest control made three visits and ultimately set traps, catching a rat. They also proposed interior spraying, which we declined.Communication with the management company was poor, with delayed or no responses during these issues.Additionally, the home does not match the listing photos. The carpet is worn, there are unfinished drywall repairs, and vents are rusted and dirty.Overall, while the location is excellent, the condition of the home and the disruptions during our stay made for a very disappointing experience.
