The home was in great location convenient to grocery store and restaurants. The outside was well lanscaped and the inside was very clean. It had everything we needed felt like home.

We didn't have pet's. Kitchen was adequate. Maybe add a larger cookie sheet and a casserole dish. Hot water was fabulous! Area was quiet. Would rent again!

Overnight stay

The property was everything we needed for an overnight stay while traveling. House was clean and kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy, giving us a good nights sleep.

Great location

Very quaint! Clean, quiet and comfortable. There was wild life. Property manager was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay in Rocky Mount

Would definitely stay here again. Easy check in and access to the home, quiet neighborhood with privacy and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. Walking distance to grocery store and anything else Rocky Mount has to offer is within a 10 mins drive. The house was very clean, there are towels provided as well as k cups and flavored creamer which was a nice touch.

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed for 4 days traveling for work. Home was comfortable and clean. Well maintained. Had an issue getting in, owners were in touch within minutes. It was pet friendly which we really appreciate! Residential area. Close to many restaurants and shopping.

Cute

House was cute! And it was clean for the most part. The floors needed a better vacuum and moping. I’m a house cleaner so I notice the these types of things. My husband didn’t care hahaha There could’ve been more towels - we had 2 towels and 2 washcloths in the master bath. I’m honestly not complaining overall the house was great!! And yes we would stay here again!

Family Wedding Celebration

I had the honor of being able to attend my cousin’s son’s wedding celebration in this lovely town, Rocky Mount and it could not have been better! This adorable cozy cottage is nestled on a pretty piece of property in a quaint neighborhood. It was easy to get to and only 15 minutes away from where the rest of the family lived. The cottage had everything my cousin and I needed and it was the perfect size. Very pet friendly too! It was wonderful to wake up and smell the fresh air! I will definitely make a return trip!

I truly do not like to leave poor reviews, but there are some things that really bothered me about this rental. I would like to know how it has a 9.6 average review rating! That’s why I chose it. It’s more like a 7 (at best). Upon first walking in, the house looked and smelled clean, but that perception quickly changed! There are several rugs throughout the house that were filthy. You could write your name in the dust on a piece of furniture in the bedroom. I am highly allergic to dust, so I notice these things. The beds were comfortable enough. A big problem was the hot water or the lack of! At times, there was no hot water (kitchen and bathroom), and we let it run quite a while thinking it’d warm up. It didn’t. There were not enough towels and wash cloths, and there was one hand towel. Safety was an issue. The TV was placed on a mantel in which it did not fit and was not anchored to the wall. It could have toppled off the mantel so easily. My two small grandchildren visited us while we were there, and my husband set the TV in the floor we were so concerned about them getting hurt. There was a broken mirror in one of the bedrooms. The gap between the outside door and the floor was wide enough I think a snake could crawl in! I do not want to sound so nitpicky, but for over 400 for two nights, I expected more. A positive was that the owner was very quick to respond to messages. The neighborhood seemed safe enough; although I did hear gunshots at 2:00 A.M. the first night.

Quiet stay

My husband and daughter stayed at this home while they were in town for a volleyball tournament. Upon arrival, there was an additional lock on the door, but the owner was quick to respond and they were able to get the door unlocked. They found the home was very clean and well appointed. In the morning, they saw five deer grazing which they thought was really cool. The only problem they came across was leaving at night time trying to back out of the driveway. There are ditches on both sides and it was very dark and my husband accidentally drove his truck into a ditch. Thankfully with four-wheel-drive, he was able to get out. After that, he realized it was possible to drive around to the other driveway, so just a heads up!

This place was perfect for our short stay in Rocky Mount. We were only in town for 2 nights for a wedding but dislike hotels. We were able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen, relaxed on the nice porch, and enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood. The location is great- conveniently close to stores and easy highway access but far enough away that you don't hear traffic noise! Kemoy communicates very well; responds quickly and seems to genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. We will stay again when in the Rocky Mount area!
