  • Nuestro 2 baños y 2 habitaciones, solo con dos sofás que se pueden convertir en camas queen, es perfecto para su próxima escapada. Viajes en solitario o grupos de hasta 8 esta casa tiene todo lo que necesita. A 3 minutos a pie de la playa, una cocina bien equipada, patio cercado y mucho más.

    Al final de la cuadra hay un carrito de café con una gran variedad de bebidas y justo al lado hay un carrito de comida con perritos calientes increíbles. Ambos son imprescindibles cuando te alojas en The Beacon.

    El corazón de la ciudad está a solo una corta caminata por la carretera, pero generalmente puede encontrar un lugar de estacionamiento si elige conducir. Hay paseos en tren, maravillosas tiendas de dulces y, por supuesto, pequeñas tiendas lindas arriba y abajo de la avenida principal.

    Cuando hayas terminado el día, ¡puedes regresar a la casa y disfrutar de una hermosa vista a la montaña desde la terraza trasera!

Extremely impressed Kate and Dan really made this place a home away from home for us! Kid friendly, pet friendly and super close to the beach! Simply perfect for our needs!!

House was clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location! Host was incredibly quick to communicate. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and about a 4 minute walk to an uncrowded beach. We visit the coast annually and this is the best price per night I've seen in the summer, and the brightest/cleanest house we've stayed in. Only thing to note is you can hear large trucks on the main hwy at night/early am, so if you're a light sleeper bring a noise machine. Great stay overall!

The house was absolutely perfect. It has everything you can think of in the kitchen. The living has plenty of room to relax with lots of throw blankets. The beds are comfy. The beach is walkable but we drove because it is across the main road. The most friendly beach access that is close is right by the park and the train station. My mother has a hard time with stairs so the ramp access was perfect. It was about a 3 minute drive.

Lovely property. Quiet location. Well stocked kitchen that was greatly appreciated. Will definitely look to check its availability the next time we plan to visit Rockaway Beach. 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location is excellent and centrally located in Rockaway Beach. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach in the mornings and easy walking into the main stretch of town to shop or eat out. The house had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The washer and dryer came in handy! The only thing I can recommend for the laundry situation is to bring your own dryer sheets or buy some because the host didn't provide any, but they did have detergent pods. The space was perfectly suited for a group of three men, but it would easily fit six of us if we brought our spouses. It was a bit warm during our stay, but we couldn't find the AC remote anywhere, so we settled with the ceiling fan. It was a great stay and we highly recommend it. We'll look here again if we come back to the area. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay, great location, 2 minutes to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked kitchen with new appliances and a really nice coffee maker. The house has a nice layout with high ceilings, open living room/dining area. Everything was clean and fresh.

We had a great stay! It is exactly three short blocks to the beach and that was amazing! Very convenient location to the rest of town too. We were able to bring our dog and he loved being with us at the house. The only two things that would have made it a little bit better is being able to stream from our devices to the TV (we like to watch a family movie together when we are on Vacation) but there were a ton of DVDs which was good (retro) and the other improvement would be a working and maintained grill. Unfortunately the grill was un-usable. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house with plenty of amenities, privacy and a 3 minute walk to the beach. It's clean and decorated very nicely yet still feels comfy. This past weekend was our 2nd stay there. Will return again!

Fam weekend getaway

My husband, two small kids, and I had the best time at Katie’s place. We loved the living room, especially the cozy oversized armchair. The beds were comfy and the place was even decorated for the holidays! We would definitely stay again.
