There is a lot to like about this house: it's a very short walk to the beach, the beds are comfortable, it was clean, the kitchen is functional (although very short on counter space), and it's on a quiet street.
But there were so many problems we encountered that detracted greatly from our enjoyment: the fireplace didn't work, the hot tub water was low - it barely came up to our chests when seated. The internet cut out frequently (the modem worked fine and was fast - around 100mbps down, but the router was on its last leg). The drain in the downstairs shower was clogged enough that we stood in dirty water while showering. The batteries in the remotes for the TV and cable box were dead. The kitchen faucet was hard to move and the handle was so loose that it wouldn't stay in place and would turn itself off after a few seconds. The oven door glass was broken. Vacasa sent a repairman over who was nice and wanted to help, but only fixed the shower drain and the batteries.
Bottom line: this felt like a budget experience that we paid a great deal of money for. At the rates we paid, I expect a much higher bar. Vacasa was nice but never offered any sort of financial compensation for all the issues we encountered, either.
