Birthday trip

We love staying at this place as it's cheap and we usually aren't here for a great room experience. Rooms are newly updateda few years back but sometimes cleaning can be a bit better. For what you pay it's one of my favorite properties to stay at. Also they don't provide you with extra trash bags learned this this time around. So pack an extra bag or two so you don't have to buy a whole roll!

It’s okay.

Check In/ check out times are a little ridiculous. The place needs a face lift, very used and outdated. The shower curtain has mold on it, and the floors could have been swept better. Replace the door and seals.. you can literally see out of it from above and below.

Overall affordable and satisfactory

Upon approval of identification, my trip was cancelled but a quick call to Vrbo resolved this. Check in was easy and quick. The room was overall clean and well put together. However, there was one dirty pan in the cupboard that was unwashed and obviously used. Aside this, the kitchen was well stocked and otherwise clean. There were utensils, cups, plates, pots and pans. Everything a small studio would need. This was the only complaint towards cleanliness. The bed was extremely loud whenever you moved but not as uncomfortable as other reviews stated. The bathroom was also well stocked and for our week stay, didn’t need any refills or additional supplies. Check out was slightly confusing because of the many notifications I got via email and through the app, but otherwise easy. Thank you for helping us enjoy our trip to Rockaway.

Relaxing and happy

Really enjoyed our stay. Will come back. Nice and clean. Shower is just a mist takes forever to rinse off the soap and the microwave had a mind of its own but other than that it was a great place to go.

Bed is a deal breaker

I won’t be back unless they replace the bed! Every time one of us turned over, the racket woke up the other one. Memory foam beds are comfy and reasonably priced. There’s no reason that wobbly, squeaky bed should be there! Otherwise the room was clean and acceptable.

Wasn't bad place to stay. Bed was very squeaky and had difficulty with shower which finally figured out. Maybe recommend instructions on shower since it is a unique shower. Air kept going up hot when set it on what was recommended at 55.

Horrible customer service

Shower wouldn’t work nor would tub fulfill up due to the plug not staying plugged. Called customer service 3 times still no contact from apartment manager with any suggestions or time frame to resolve issues. Employee that was there could only text manager but wouldn’t since it was the same thing I had already done. After 4 hours of waiting told customer service to cancel remaining of stay and refund money at first they said the couldn’t cause I was passed check out time. When I left manager was there but never came to room to try to resolve.

Good place and good price

I overall had a great stay at this property. The walls are thin so I could here the arguing couple next door to me but the location was right next to the beach and the place was great for me and my dogs. I really like that it is pet friendly with no weight restrictions.

Quaint and comfortable

Very conveniently located to the beach. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Clean, full kitchen, king size bed. A very relaxing environment. I would definitely stay there again.
