Cozy Family Cabin-Secluded beach access, non-smoking home awaits you

  • La cabina de la familia Balcomb se construyó en 1910 y desde entonces ha estado haciendo recuerdos familiares.

    Esta pintoresca cabaña cuenta con dos habitaciones en el piso de arriba. El dormitorio familiar contiene una reina y tres camas gemelas. El segundo dormitorio contiene una cama queen. Los baños ubicados en cada piso hacen que refrescarse sea muy fácil. Lavadora y secadora ubicadas en el baño de la planta baja ayudan a mantener a todos libres de arena cuando no están en la playa.

    No hay recepción de televisión poco fiable. La cabina está equipada con un reproductor de DVD y varias películas de época.

    Gran patio es perfecto para un juego de bádminton o tiempo de juego para los niños.

    La playa está a una manzana, el acceso al vecindario está a 5 minutos a pie.

    Ubicado a 2 millas al sur de la playa de Rockaway, cerca de restaurantes familiares, antigüedades y parques.

Great location, walking distance to a wonderful beach. cabin was cozy and comfortable, exactly as described. Bring your favorite cooking gear if you need, but has everything you would expect. We would be happy to come back. We had a terrific week!

The cabin was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay we love the oregon coast and would stay here again. The only thing I would say is the sheer curtains did not give any privacy. At night it felt like we were living in a punch bowl. Fine during the day. I walked my dog most evenings and I could see my wife inside watching TV or working on her computer through the curtains so there was just not any privacy from the neighbors. I let property owner know and she said she would try to remedy that so hopefully that will be better in the future.

It was wonderful, centrally located. In the middle of Astoria and Newport. We fished, walked to a winderful beach from the house, went site seeing. We brought a ROKU stick so tv was available. There are tons of DVD'S there.

Beautiful family vacation

Our stay was great. We stayed a total of 11 nights and enjoyed every second of it. The house is cozy and a cute beach house. The 5 min walk to the beach made going to the beach a breeze and meant we could go often. Thank so much for sharing your home with us. We cant wait to come back again.

Cozy house

Great location and the house has everything you need. Great beach to walk on! The living room furniture wasn’t comfortable for my 90 year old mom but if you aren’t sitting around a lot it’s ok.

Great little spot

Great little spot to spend your time on the Oregon coast. Rockwaway beach is great, but it is also a great location to discover all the amazing spots on the northern coast. it's a little 100 year old cabin, but well taken care of with all it's quirks and charm. Hope to come again.

Relaxing getaway

Loved the location of this property and it’s proximity to the beach and other little towns along the coast. I took a walk on the beach every morning I was there as it’s just about a 3 minute walk. The local train passed by the house daily so that was a fun bonus. House was clean and had great water pressure for showers.

Banner Week at Beach Cabin!

All the comforts & conveniences of home. Pleasant neighborhood. Secluded beach. Clean n welcoming home. First morning three deer walked by! This is a return stay for us as we were so pleased last year.

Relaxing

Just move back to Oregon. After a long, stressful move, I decided to work from the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and easy walk to the beach. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

Cozy and comfortable

We really enjoyed out stay here. It's an old house but it's clean and has lots of charm. We really liked the location as it's not in the hustle and bustle (like Cannon Beach) but close enough to good shopping and restaurants and nearby towns. Rockaway beach is a very nice beach that is not at all crowded. Just a mile walk to the south gets you to a rock jetty with lots of creatures to looks at. We received the instructions prior to arrival and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and the price was fair.

Amazing experience!

First impressions I thought my family and I were going to be a little cramped (4 kids and 3 adults) in this 2 bedroom house but looks are deceiving! This home has plenty of space and is very charming and cozy. Short walk to the beach. Very friendly neighbors and plenty to do around. We traveled a few days but mostly spent our vacation at the house. It was wonderful! Will definitely book again!

Cozy at the Beach

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean & comfortable. .Quiet, too. Nicely appointed kitchen. Didn't use the heat stove or TV for movies. Company of our friends took our time. I'd love to stay again! Hedi was a great host. Bedrooms are upstairs so pack accordingly. Not a problem for us. Good times.

Lovely Stay

The home was perfect. I loved the cottage, vintage feel. It felt incredibly homey. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The home is a very short distance to the beach. My partner and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the evenings. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. Hedie is one of the sweetest hosts ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future. :)

We love this cozy beach cabin! It’s a 5 minute walk to a beautiful, quiet sandy beach. The cabin is comfortable and equipped with just about anything you need. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Portland (90 minute drive) and visited on the weekends. The home has a large assortment of games, which we played every night, along with a BBQ. We brought our streaming device (Google TV) plugged into the TV and had all the channels we needed plus local stations. We could hear the Rockaway Scenic Train whistle which was one my favorite parts of our stay. Also a close drive to Manzanita, Cannon Beach, Rail Ridder, antique shops, Pronto Pup, and MUCH MORE. We love this home and hope to return. Thank you for a great VRBO experience!!
