Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our stay. Large living room, dining area, and kitchen. It was very spacious and great for a dog and a baby. Short walk to the small town and the beach. We made use of the fire pit and the hot tub. Check-in was easy and the host was very quick to respond to questions. Everything was exactly as described.

The house was great. A short walk down to the shops or the beach and far enough to be quiet from all the hustle and bustle. The back porch area and hot tub was nice for the kids and keeping them contained. The house had some nice things there to use for the kids also. We will consider staying again if we make it back to Rockaway!

Our family came out for the 4th of July, and couldn't have found a better location. Walkable to the beach and close to the parade route without being on a noisy main street. We were able to enjoy the fireworks show from the front yard by the fire pit. Which was great this year as it was pretty chilly! Huge kitchen with everything we could possibly need. This will be at the top of our list for future visits!

The house is in excellent location to the beach and downtown but still a quiet location. The kitchen is fabulous and accommodated our family. We enjoyed the hot tub and having an enclosed area for the dog. The dining and living room area was large enough for everyone to stretch out and communication with the host was excellent!

Our stay at the Cox’s beach house was wonderful. Lots of family relaxation and fun. The house is bright, cute, and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and well-stocked. The open dining area and living room are enjoyable, happy places to come together after a day exploring. The perfect walking distance from downtown and the beach, but far enough away that you can enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. After we had an issue with the washer, Nancy was incredibly responsive, coming to take care of the problem herself. We had a fabulous time.

Great Family Vacation

Nancy’s home is just a few blocks from the beach. It was a quick 5 min walk. Easy to come back to the house for meals and return to the beach or stores. Very quaint and quiet neighborhood. Several parks within walking distance. Small town, big, spacious beach. The house was comfortable for the six of us plus our dog. Loved the beach decor and the window seat! Dragon kite provided flew like magic! We had everything we needed. Thanks for providing a beautiful place for us to call home during our family beach vacation.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

This is our 2nd year staying at this property! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the shops. Also, it’s a short drive to other towns/beaches. The house is extremely clean and well cared for. The place is well stocked with just about everything you would need for an extended stay. Nancy is fantastic to work with and we will definitely be coming back next year!

Wonderful Family Getaway

Lovely few days “away from it all” with our daughter just home from university. Clean, comfy with all you need to feel right at home. Wonderful kitchen and grill for cooking at “home” and walkable to the sand, shops and eateries. Our senior dog enjoyed the park next door & fenced back yard. Close drive to nearby scenic hikes and bonus to soak in the hot tub in the evenings after hiking. Owner is communicative and friendly. Our second time staying @ Nancy’s place and it won’t be our last!

Better than expected.

Our stay was great. The house was better than we thought and thought it would be great. The house was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and came completely made. Kitchen came fully stocked with dishes and had many extra Utensils. We would definitely stay again, only longer, and highly recommend.

A perfect beach retreat

We had such a lovely time! Walking distance to the beach, shops, bakery, restaurants, everything you could need! Nancy’s home was extremely clean and well set up for everything we needed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean and cozy place to stay on the Oregon coast.

A great rental for families!

We stayed at this property with our 3 young children and it was such a cozy house for us! There are 2 bedrooms and a bath on each side of the house which was super helpful for sleeping arrangements! The hot tub was a big hit and there were even a few toys for the kids. It was within walking distance for coffee or something else but we mostly drove to the beach and parked because we had so much stuff. The house is obviously dog friendly which is great but since we don't have a dog, we couldn't help but notice dog hair and such on floors and furniture. But, that didn't bother us we loved staying here it was cozy and spacious at the same time and a great location!
