I will start with the positive. The size for our group of 12 was great! Plenty of room for all of us. The location to the attractions we wanted to do was not an issue, just a short drive to where we wanted to go. Now, the not so positive. In NO way is this a RESORT!! These are mostly long term stays for locals! Very disappointing. The smokers that sat by the exit doors and smoked, while our bedroom windows were right there, to us coming back one night and the whole rental smelling like marijuana!! We had to open windows and spray air freshener! The hot tub smelled horrible the first few days, as well as was low on water. The cleanliness, well, our kids were not able to wear white socks, as the turned BLACK! We even mopped the floors with our own cleaning supplies! There was a smell when we arrived, we put air fresheners throughout, as well as sprayed Febreze. The grout on the floors was very dirty, the tiled shower had black mold. We never seen the owner in the 8 days we were there, although it said she lived on site. We never were able to catch anyone in the office. We were told by someone who lives there that no one is normally in there? The other issue was the noise above us! It was horrible at night! I think the couple who purchased the property a few years ago had great intentions of turning it into a Resort. There is NO way to call it that with the people you currently have living there. I have stayed at many VRBO’s over the years, this was the first bad experience.
