Waterfront Hot Tub On The Bay

  • Our serene family lake house on a private cove provides a peaceful, tranquil setting with stunning views of Irondequoit Bay. The home boasts 1600 sq ft, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2 full baths with a primary bedroom ensuite. Perfect for those who love the water and to fish, kayak or just love to take in the sights and sounds of nature. Enjoy our hot tub, fire pit and dock for the perfect bay front getaway! Top notch amenities, location and ambiance. We aim to exceed your expectations for your stay. By booking this property, you acknowledge under this rental contract and agree, per Town of Irondequoit regulations:
    (1) Maximum property occupancy is 6 people.
    (2) Maximum on-site parking provided is 2 vehicles.
    (3) On-street parking is prohibited; and
    (4) You must abide by a Code of conduct including adherence to our Good Neighbor policy.
    (a) The short-term rental is in a residential area in the
    Town of Irondequoit, and renters should be considerate of the residents in neighboring homes.
    (b) Guests are required to observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. through 8:00 a.m.
    (c) All renters will be subject to New York Penal Law § 240.20 or any successor statute regarding disorderly conduct.
    (d) Littering is illegal; and
    (e) Recreational campfires, if permitted, must be
    attended.

The lake view was so peaceful. The house was clean, and there was plenty of room for a family dinner and hanging out together. The hot tub was a nice bonus, as well.

Fun little one getaway

This house is so clean and fresh with a great location tucked away in a little quiet cove. Kids had a great time fishing on the dock and relaxing with a great waterfront view!

We had a great time here. The pictures are what you get and it’s nice and private. We brought kayaks and a pontoon boat and we’re able to enjoy the bay right from our dock.

Nice house in great location

Ryan was awesome with communicating! The house was very nice and we loved the location. The room with twin beds was tight with 4 people, but we made it work. It would be nice to have some hooks in the bathrooms, but otherwise everything was really great!

Peaceful on the bay

The house is beautifully situated in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the serenity of sitting by the water and watching the abundant wildlife. The house had everything we needed for our four day stay, and the hot tub was a great plus!

Serene Place Convenient to Rochester

We stayed here to visit our son while he still had obligations around the Eastman School. The place was clean and everything worked (the clothes washer was bit iffy). There were good running trails nearby and we loved seeing the goslings and other animals on the water.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Schnackel Shack and we had a wonderful time. We were staying with our cousin's family that included 2 girls, 10 and 12 and the location is great, being close to SeaBreeze Amusement Park, Whispering Pines Mini-Golf, Lake Ontario and lots of other attractions. The home itself was very comfortable and the surroundings quiet. We had no issues at all and loved our time there. Thanks, Ryan!

Weekend family getaway

Great location and space for two small families to get together. Kids loved the hot tub and the family of ducks that lived nearby. Adults loved the beautiful view. Only downfall was the weather.

5 star property! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was thought of as far as the small details and the property itself was well decorated with an open floor plan hot tub, a closet, full of toys for little ones and much more highly recommend great communication from the property owners also! Great stay for RIT graduation

This home was beautiful and clean and everything was just as pictured and described. We stayed here for a long weekend for our son’s graduation from RIT. It was a short drive to the college and to shopping, yet we felt like we were a world away at the lake. I would highly recommend this clean beautiful lake home.

Waterfront Property

Great house on the water in Rochester! We loved exploring the Rochester area so much that we would return here again. The house was as listed and we enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The host was very responsive and we appreciated the restaurant and grocery store suggestions.

Serene Bayfront

Love it, even at Christmas time when it's cold (ps., can we get some snow next time?!). It was so serene. The house is just perfect, and all the little details of a spa like feeling is truly appreciated. We all hope to return during summer weather one day.
