Newly remodeled and spacious getaway

  • Relax in the entire top floor space of our newly-remodeled Victorian home in the "hip" South Wedge neighborhood of Rochester. It takes less than 9 minutes to walk to the local coffee shops, restaurants, bars, organic grocery co-op, yoga studio, corner store, and our favorite dessert shop.

    The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchenware you would need. The couch pulls out to a full-size bed with a real mattress and we have a queen-size air mattress if you need to host up to 6 people overnight. There is a common area with laundry and free detergent that your door code will let you into.

    We live in the back unit and work from home, so if you ever need anything we are always happy to help.

Welcome wine bottle and chocolates was a nice touch! Clean rooms. Host communicated well. Location was great. There was some lingering smoke in the bedroom due to the prior renter being a smoker…opening windows helped. Minor but noticed that in some areas the floor is not level.

It was a amazing stay highly recommended

I stayed in this beautiful house in a great neighborhood while i went to visit a friend the house was very comfortable in a quiet nice neighborhood and had lots of food options and stores around the hosts were also very nice and constantly check up on you to make sure everything for your stay is good i would definitely stay here again when i come to visit.

Great location

This was a nice space for me and my spouse. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and provided some high quality complimentary toiletries! The rental is in a convenient and quiet location. We loved the shops that were within walking distance. We will certainly book here again the next time we want to visit the area.

Stairway to heaven.

Steep staircase up to spacious area. Great location. Hot water issue but host communicated quickly even though it was Mother’s Day. Very welcoming hosts.

Lovely apartment

This South Wedge apartment was perfect for us. It's a great location in a fun and eclectic neighborhood with lots of eating and drinking options within walking distance. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. Hosts Ed & Alyssa have done a marvelous job with this place. A great experience overall.

Rochester Convenience

The apartment was clean and nicely remodeled. The hosts were friendly. The location is convenient to downtown. I did find the stairs to be steep. The bathroom is accessed through the bedroom.

Great section of a nice Victorian Home!

This Victorian home had plenty of room for me to spread out and do my work as well as rest comfortably. It was clean and had plenty of amenities, including extra pillows, toothbrushes, you name it… Highly recommended! Five stars! (*****)

Great Space

We loved this location. It was central to what we needed and the neighborhood felt welcoming. We especially loved the community garden next door. It was nice for a quick morning stroll, but we did encountera family of skunks at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts were kind enough to greet us with a bottle of wine on the dining table. There are plenty of sleeping options; I opted for the couch. We did hit a snag with the key code entry, but the owners live on property and were able to help us quickly. We're very grateful for the positive experience.
