  • Congratulations! You found your perfect vacation lake house. Lovingly called the "Silver Tuna", this charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom waterfront home sits on a quiet secluded street on the north side of Lake Manitou in Rochester, IN.

    **Available for Long Term Rental- call for more information**

    HUGE fully-fenced in lakeside yard (approx. 75 ft. of lake frontage). Meticulously maintained open concept living space with breathtaking lakefront views. The spacious main level boasts the living area, newly remodeled kitchen, dining area, laundry facility, and full bathroom.

    3 massive bedrooms and full bathroom upstairs plus a bonus loft with plenty of living/sleeping space. Sleeps 10. 2 car attached garage and large driveway that can fit 6 additional cars.

    Enjoy fishing or docking your boat on the private pier in the 1,156 acres of clean, spring-fed waters of Lake Manitou. Local attractions in town include: Round Barn Golf Club, Elks Golf Course, Nickel Plate Trail, Harvest Moon Amish Deli & Market, boutique shopping and MANY restaurants. 2 full size kayaks and 1 child size kayak available!

Our experience was amazing. When we booked, we didn’t know a snow storm would come. Two of us were unable to get home. Justin was kind enough to help us set up another day. The home was beautiful. We had our annual knitting retreat here. We had four out of our six attend. There was plenty of room for us all. It had everything we needed. We plan to come back.

Best yet!

Our family books a lake house every summer and this is our favorite so far! It was spacious, has a wonderful kitchen, and a beautiful view. The owner was quick to respond and generous throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful lake getaway

We had the best time here with our family for an extended weekend. It was the cleanest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in and Justin was incredibly helpful with suggesting golf courses and was quick to communicate. It had everything you need and felt very homey. The lake itself was beautiful and the vrbo included two adult kayaks and a kids kayak which we used everyday. Highly recommend this property!

Plenty of room!

We had a great week with 10 of us coming together for some extended family time. Plenty of room for all and we really enjoyed using the provided kayaks to get out on the lake. The yard was large enough for games and the trails around Rochester shaded our walks/runs!

College friends get together

We had a great weekend at the house with college friends. We went out and caught fish, the house was nice, the communication with the owner was quick responses and very helpful, and was everything was very enjoyable. It was the first time we had ever done a VRBO or anything like it, but it was a very good first experience.

Perfect for family with small children

This house was perfect for my fiancé and our 2 year old twins. Not only was the house was already baby proofed but it had everything we typically would need to pack/bring with us (pack and play, highchairs, baby gates, etc) we loved the fenced in yard so our littles could run and play without the stress of getting too close to the water. We hope to return in the future!
