As mentioned, Saturday nights are the most popular night of the week hence the price is a lot more than mid-week stays, so if budget is an issue then mid-week may be suitable for your next visit? Thanks for letting me know about the PowerPoint sticking out in the loft, confirming that has now been fixed :) we ask all guests to keep doors and windows closed during your stay as it is the country, and we want to avoid any insects or pests particularly when you guys have lots of food lying around :) Thanks and come back soon! Hi Tracy, Thanks so much for your great review! In regards to the internet there was a power outage in the area due to the severe weather. In regards to the dishwasher it is now fixed. Hi Loosha, Thanks so much for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay and our goat :) The screen in the Master Bedroom is only for Apple TV (we only advertise the tvs in the living spaces) which is clear in the instructions. In regards to the wifi, it can drop out from time to time (being in country town) and there was an electrical storm in Robertson during the time you stayed so apologies it was dropping out. Hi Penny, I am glad you enjoyed your stay at The Maple Lodge! In regards to the gas for the BBQ - as you can appreciate, we're not always in the area (being in country town!) especially at 10pm at night and the bottles do empty from time to time so we ask guests to refill them (we reimburse of course) as it's only a 5 min drive to the fuel station. Not sure why you had to change cables to watch Netflix/Stan all you needed to do was select Smart Hub button on the Smart TV to watch - instructions were provided in the house rules. We have extra light bulbs above our microwave - all you had to do was ask. Yes we do have house rules (most owners do) as we like to keep the house nice and clean so that all guests can enjoy it! We like to ensure people receive them too as the rules also have clear instructions on everything you need to know during your stay like where extra globes are etc and details regarding the BBQ gas. We have carpets so don't allow shoes inside as they can be muddy from the grounds - this is standard practice with country homes. Kind regards, Carmen @ The Maple Lodge
