Terri and the cabin were both warm and welcoming. The cabin itself is beautiful, a classic wooden cabin feel. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for a long weekend. Trees surround the vicinity of the cabin so it’s quiet and you feel like you’re in the forest. A short drive to shops and a lot of trails in the area. Meeting their animals was such a bonus for our trip! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Super cute cabin with everything you could possibly need. Only spoke with Terri at check in but knew they were close by if we needed anything. Location was great, easily drove to hike into the Skookumchuck Narrows, Sechelt for dinner and cute little beach and picnic area 10 minutes away.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Terri & Dwane were amazing hosts sharing their farm experience with us including a couple of visits with their horses, pony & especially Cowboy (their humongous friendly pup). The cabin was secluded & very quaint & spacious. Will definitely go there again!

The rustic cabin was the perfect balance of charm and comfort—beautifully tucked away in the forest, offering total privacy, yet outfitted with all the modern amenities you could possibly need. It felt like a true escape, hidden from view of anyone else, surrounded by nothing but the peaceful sounds of nature. Full length picture windows in the bedroom made it feel like you are slumbering in the forest.The tranquillity here is unmatched. Whether you’re sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee or strolling through the quiet woods, you can feel the stress of everyday life just melt away. It’s an ideal retreat from today’s hectic pace, a place to slow down and reconnect with what really matters.At the same time, the location is perfect. Just a short drive brings you to Roberts Creek, Sechelt, or Gibsons—charming beach towns filled with cozy cafés, unique shops, and wonderful restaurants. It was the best of both worlds: serene seclusion in the forest with vibrant little communities nearby to explore.Terry was a wonderful host, attentive to all our needs and always available. But at the same time, she was happy to leave us to our own adventures.We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend the Whispering Horse Ranch to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of rustic luxury.

We had such a lovely escape to this cozy cabin tucked away in the woods. It offered the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion surrounded by forest, while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The setting was serene and private—just what we were hoping for.Terri was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to show us everything we’d need for a comfortable three-night stay. It was especially nice to find a place where our dogs were not only allowed, but truly welcomed.The cabin was cozy, clean, and had all the little touches that made it feel like a true retreat. Romantic Getaway

This was a lovely rustic cabin in the woods, especially if you love hiking and mountain biking. The owners (and their 2 dogs) were very friendly and answered any questions very quickly. They went above and beyond - truly kind people. The bed was comfy and the linens were fresh. We highly recommend this place, especially if you have a good dog. Our lab loved their dogs. Thank you!

Second visit as great as the first!

This is a very comfortable cabin in a quiet location, a great home base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom has heated floors. We didn't need anything more! Dog visits were a bonus:)

If you want to do the Sunshine Coast this is the spot to do it from. Beautiful little cabin in a peaceful setting with all the amenities one could want. We toured the coast, beaches, towns and pubs and loved every minute. Has been 42 years since our last visit and interesting to see the change. Host was perfect and made us feel welcomed. As we head back into the city and the traffic I know for sure my peaceful place will be thoughts of this cabin. Thanks

Love the location, the cabin, and the atmosphere of the place. Hosts are amazing and communicative. We stayed here a few years ago and we're thrilled to have had a chance to go back again. Terri was a great host! She was super helpful at check in and even spared some of her time a couple days later to introduce us to her animals :) I was totally expecting a quick meet them and hear a bit about them and that was it, but she spent way more time with us; it was amazing! The cabin is great, definitely was nice to know about the well water and the iron beforehand so it wasn’t as shocking haha. Be aware that the tub takes awhile to fill up, but it’s worth! Especially with some bubbles!!If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend!!

Perfect spot for some real peace and quiet

The cabin location is everything if you are looking to unwind and enjoy peace and quiet away from it all. Terri was very easy to deal with and both dogs are as big and friendly as advertised! The cabin is well equipped for most of your needs and I did enjoy the jacuzzi tub after some adventuring.We especially loved having hiking trails right outside the cabin door but Gibsons, Sechelt and all the bays in between are fun to explore too
