Super cute cabin with everything you could possibly need. Only spoke with Terri at check in but knew they were close by if we needed anything. Location was great, easily drove to hike into the Skookumchuck Narrows, Sechelt for dinner and cute little beach and picnic area 10 minutes away.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Terri & Dwane were amazing hosts sharing their farm experience with us including a couple of visits with their horses, pony & especially Cowboy (their humongous friendly pup). The cabin was secluded & very quaint & spacious. Will definitely go there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Whispering Horse Ranch. The rustic cabin was the perfect balance of charm and comfort—beautifully tucked away in the forest, offering total privacy, yet outfitted with all the modern amenities you could possibly need. It felt like a true escape, hidden from view of anyone else, surrounded by nothing but the peaceful sounds of nature. Full length picture windows in the bedroom made it feel like you are slumbering in the forest.The tranquillity here is unmatched. Whether you’re sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee or strolling through the quiet woods, you can feel the stress of everyday life just melt away. It’s an ideal retreat from today’s hectic pace, a place to slow down and reconnect with what really matters.At the same time, the location is perfect. Just a short drive brings you to Roberts Creek, Sechelt, or Gibsons—charming beach towns filled with cozy cafés, unique shops, and wonderful restaurants. It was the best of both worlds: serene seclusion in the forest with vibrant little communities nearby to explore.Terry was a wonderful host, attentive to all our needs and always available. But at the same time, she was happy to leave us to our own adventures.We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend the Whispering Horse Ranch to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of rustic luxury.

We absolutely loved our stay in Robert’s Creek. Terri and her dog Cowboy were great hosts and showed us some cool hiking trails. The cabin was peaceful and well stocked with everything you could possible need. We can’t wait to go back.

It was a very smooth process from the beginning! Terri's communication was quick, clear and wonderful. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing quiet stay in the woods. It was also great to have a place that really welcomes dogs. :)

Private cozy cabin fully equipped

We had such a lovely escape to this cozy cabin tucked away in the woods. It offered the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion surrounded by forest, while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The setting was serene and private—just what we were hoping for.Terri was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to show us everything we’d need for a comfortable three-night stay. It was especially nice to find a place where our dogs were not only allowed, but truly welcomed.The cabin was cozy, clean, and had all the little touches that made it feel like a true retreat. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived.A wonderful spot to unwind in nature—we would definitely return if it was available!

Romantic Getaway

This was a lovely rustic cabin in the woods, especially if you love hiking and mountain biking. The owners (and their 2 dogs) were very friendly and answered any questions very quickly. They went above and beyond - truly kind people. The bed was comfy and the linens were fresh. We highly recommend this place, especially if you have a good dog. Our lab loved their dogs. Thank you!

Second visit as great as the first!

This is a very comfortable cabin in a quiet location, a great home base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom has heated floors. We didn't need anything more! Dog visits were a bonus:)

If you want to do the Sunshine Coast this is the spot to do it from. Beautiful little cabin in a peaceful setting with all the amenities one could want. We toured the coast, beaches, towns and pubs and loved every minute. Has been 42 years since our last visit and interesting to see the change. Host was perfect and made us feel welcomed. As we head back into the city and the traffic I know for sure my peaceful place will be thoughts of this cabin. Thanks

Wonderful stay, beautiful property

Love the location, the cabin, and the atmosphere of the place. Hosts are amazing and communicative. We stayed here a few years ago and we're thrilled to have had a chance to go back again. It's wonderful how dog friendly this place is! It's quiet and peaceful and so close to Gibsons and Sechelt. I highly recommend this place!

Relaxing staycation

Terri was a great host! She was super helpful at check in and even spared some of her time a couple days later to introduce us to her animals :) I was totally expecting a quick meet them and hear a bit about them and that was it, but she spent way more time with us; it was amazing! The cabin is great, definitely was nice to know about the well water and the iron beforehand so it wasn’t as shocking haha. Be aware that the tub takes awhile to fill up, but it’s worth! Especially with some bubbles!!If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend!!

Perfect spot for some real peace and quiet

The cabin location is everything if you are looking to unwind and enjoy peace and quiet away from it all. Terri was very easy to deal with and both dogs are as big and friendly as advertised! The cabin is well equipped for most of your needs and I did enjoy the jacuzzi tub after some adventuring.We especially loved having hiking trails right outside the cabin door but Gibsons, Sechelt and all the bays in between are fun to explore too

Excellent coastal getaway.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It felt secluded in the wilderness, but just a short drive away from anything you need. Nice trails to hike with a dog and rocky beaches to explore. The cabin was cozy on the rainy days and there was excellent communication with the hosts. An extra treat having horses to visit on the property and two resident dogs that would stop by for a visit.

A charming and peaceful escape!

We booked our stay last minute after a previous place turned into a bit of a nightmare. It turned out to be a blessing because it was just what we needed!My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights. The weather was rainy and cold, so we didn’t venture out very much. We were able to cook all of our meals using their kitchen supplies and some of the essentials they provided. The spices could maybe use a little refresh, but otherwise what they had was helpful. The space was cozy and simple with lots of windows to see the trees. Well stocked with essentials without being extravagant. The cabin uses well water, so there is a reddish tinge and a bit of smell. If you’re sensitive to that, it may be a deterrent but they provide additional water for drinking/cooking. We weren’t bothered by it, and enjoyed a nice soak in the tub. The heated tiles were really lovely!Cowboy and Rancher (their big Pyrenees dogs) will melt your heart! We didn’t get a chance to meet the chickens or horses, but I would book again during nicer weather. Our only real complaint was the cold white light bulbs in some of the lights kind of ruined the cozy vibe when we had to use them. Pretty minor as there were also warm lights that we used when we weren’t cooking in the evening. I would absolutely recommend this for a cozy and rustic retreat!
