Best experience at Vivaro

What a gem! We never once regretted our selection. Ireland location to West End which allowed us to walk down ever day for our dive trips. Back to enjoy the pool and relax. Love Loretta (2 nights of chef) food delicious especially the lemon pie. Overall - one of our best trips. We appreciate all the attention and communication from Matt and Tanya. We will be back! Thank you again.

Spacious paradise

When we first walked in, we were totally blown away by the beauty and expansiveness along with the incredible views! The property was exactly as described in the listing. The manager and owners were super gracious and communicative, very helpful. We felt that we had a ton of privacy and thoroughly enjoyed using both the indoor and outdoor areas. We loved the quiet neighborhood and proximity to town. Just a tip: you can rent a scooter right across the street from Hugo. Would highly recommend this gorgeous space!

Definitely as advertised. Everything is first rate, from the people, to the property, to the proximity to town. Will be back for sure. One of the nicest places i have ever stayed. Check out Lorettas Island Cooking and Captn R's Guide service for some excellent food and fishing! Thanks to Tanya!!!!!

Simply Amazing

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property, the people or the location. This was an experience of our lifetime and me, my wife and our two daughters (19 and 23) enjoyed every aspect of this trip. We highly recommend staying here and we are so thankful for everyone from check in to check out that made this trip one we will remember for years to come.

Scuba and splendor in the Roatan

Spent 6 days in Roatan and felt this house was perfect for all our needs. Would return here in a heartbeat and hope to do so soon. Thank you to Matt, Tanya and all the helpers during our stay. Phenomenal!

Perfect in every way

Thank you for an amazing experience for our family. The home and location are incredible! Marty, who provided transportation for our family, was invaluable on our vacation. He was not only extremely helpful in getting us around, but also suggesting activities and ensuring our family’s comfort. Marty’s wife, Blackie, cooked us our favorite meal of the entire trip in the comforts of the home. We also really enjoyed the Argentinian Grill which is a short walk into Half Moon Bay. Zip lining and our catamaran sunset cruise were highlights for our family of seven.

This place is truly perfect in every way...

Anyone who wouldn’t be happy here needs to go see a doctor. The place is stunning, the pictures are spot on but even better in person once you open up the doors and walk out back. The process of booking, paying, arriving, Matt the property mgr and Tanya the owner - all effortless. We only lost power once and Vivaro House has a generator so we didn’t miss a beat. Zero complaints or concerns and hope we’re lucky enough to go back some day!! PS no need to rent a car, easy walk to town, grocery, meals, shopping, water taxi and dive op (we used Sun Divers and they were equally as wonderful).

beautiful location, lovely home

Wonderful home, excellent service (especially appreciated the answers to all my questions prior to our arrival) This was the first time we (family of 6 - all adults) traveled to Roatan and we had a fabulous time. The house was beautiful and comfortable and in an excellent location allowing us to walk to town, take a water taxi to West Bay beach, etc. We're ready to return. Don't miss this house!!

Beautiful home in perfect location

We stayed at the Vivaro South House over New Year’s and it was perfect! We had two families, each with three kids. The configuration of two identical master bedrooms and one large bunk room was great. The bunk room had more than enough room for all six kids. The house is very well maintained, modern and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every pan, utensil etc that we needed. There is someone who comes every day to maintain the gorgeous infinity pool and deck area and another person who comes every other day to clean the house and wash towels as necessary. It was a very pleasant surprise to have that level of service. The house is an easy walk to West End where there are restaurants, small grocery stores, water taxis, a beach etc. We would definitely recommend planning your grocery list before you arrive and asking the driver to stop at Eldin’s on the way from the airport. It made the trip so easy and hassle free to have some basic groceries right when we arrived. The property managers, Matt and Andrea, really took careful of anything we needed. They booked all our transportation, dinner reservations, helped us with activities and anything else we needed. They also arranged a pizza chef, Junior, to come to the house one night for a pizza party. The whole trip was so easy and the island is beautiful with lots of great activities. Staying at Vivaro was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!!

Gorgeous home on the water!

As others have said, the pictures don't do this lovely home justice! It was spacious and bright, with attractive and functional furnishings that made relaxing after a day at the beach a pleasure. Beautiful sunsets at the end of the day were a highlight of our stay, and the kids loved hanging out in the pool while the adults chit chatted in the comfy chairs. One of our friends snorkeled right off the shore and said there was lots to see there, the only concern is boats that come around the point and drive by close to shore. The beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked great. Excellent wifi and a generator for when the power goes out was also a plus since outages are common on Roatan. Overall we had a wonderful stay and everything about Vivaro South was top notch. We also loved that it was within walking distance of the shops and restaurants on West End, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Already planning our next stay in this fantastic location!

What a great place!

We travel frequently on vacation and typically stay in nicer homes or resorts and we've never been happier than we were with the accommodations at Vivaro South House. Time does not allow us to go into detail, but any small shortcomings were greatly overshadowed by all the wonderful attributes of this property and the very reasonable rental rates. If you're even considering renting this home, just do it, you will not be disappointed. You can thank me later!

PERFECTION

Enjoyed an amazing week here with our group of five, including four adults and our 17 yr old daughter. From beginning to end, this property and its incredible staff exceeded all of our expectations. The house is even more beautiful in person. The kitchen is bright and gorgeous and very well equipped for easy breakfasts or full dinners. The bedrooms with adjoining baths were spotless and well stocked with high end linens and towels. The home and pool were maintained daily by a friendly staff who looked after every detail. The manager was accessible at all times and offered bits of the islands history as well as amazing recommendations for restaurants, day trips and activities to fit our needs. As far as safety, we had zero concerns. Shortly after our arrival, our daughter walked to and from daily scuba lessons. Another bonus of this location is there is NO need for rental car. The staff met us at the airport and arranged for our return. The short walk to town brings you to everything you need and to water taxis if you need to travel further. Note: Bring walking shoes! The walk is fine, but the roads are not in the best shape. The people of Roatan could not have been nicer and the family and staff that take pride in managing this beautiful property are no exception. The only thing you will be wanting for is a longer stay.

Beautiful home in great location.

The photos of the home represent it well. It is very spacious and accommodating. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars and dive shops. Communication with owner and management was very good. I would definitely rent this property again.

ROATAN PERFECTION !!!

This was our first trip to Roatan and we could not have made a better home rental choice. The property is gorgeous, the home luxurious, the infinity pool sunsets to die for and the West End location perfecto !!! Owner Tanya and property manager Mark were above & beyond helpful and gave the best recommendations on what to do and where to do it... we only wish that we had more time to do everything they suggested :) 10 stars for Vivaro Roatan !!!

Amazing family vacation in a beautiful house!

We recently stayed in the Vivaro South House in Roatans West End. We have stayed in numerous VRBO houses in many different locations, and this particular home was by far one of the best. Not only is the home immaculate, but the location could not be better. The house itself is a short 10 minute walk from shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. We found that we did not need to rent a car as everything we needed was within walking distance. If we wanted to visit West Bay Beach, water taxis were easily accessible as were regular taxis if we needed to venture out of West End. Transportation was included with all excursions we went on, so a vehicle was not necessary. The house is set up perfectly for three couples, or two couples with children. There are two master suites that are identical, so everyone has amazing views and spacious bathrooms. The third room is a kids paradise, but also includes a king size bed and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen/family room/deck space is also set up perfectly for spending time together as one big group. The kitchen is also well equipped to make most meals that you would want while on vacation. Tanya and David were extremely helpful in not only planning out our trip, but also with anything we needed while we were there. They have spent a lot of time in Roatan and know what restaurants to eat at, excursions to go on and pretty much anything else you can think of. They are very responsive and didn't mind us asking questions at any time along the way. We felt extremely safe while we were there. We had no issues letting the kids stay at home and swim while we walked down to the local restaurants from some adult time. We never had an issue with cell coverage, so they were able to contact us at all times. We would highly recommend eating at Gingers on the far side of the bay on the beach. You can hang out on their beach chairs and snorkel during the day, or enjoy their deck for dinner at night. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. We would also recommend checking out Ruthless Roatan for a once in a lifetime boating excursion. It is a very eye opening and educational trip for both kids and adults, as well as a lot of fun snorkeling and fishing. We are all definitely looking forward to going back to Roatan and staying at Vivaro again.
