We absolutely LOVED this property! Marnie was a great host. Very easy to communicate with, always responded quickly to our questions. The check-in video was a very nice little touch, that made the whole process very easy.Everyone at the property we met were so friendly. Paul the groundskeeper was there everyday, and was so pleasant. Taylor came by to fix the hammocks one day, and we had such a great conversation with him. Just the friendliest guy ever!Ended up booking a charter with Tim nextdoor. I highly recommend spending a day with the Ruthless crew! Got to kayak out to the reef every morning, and enjoy sunsets from the deck before relaxing in hammocks for the evening.Everything on the property was exactly as we expected. It lives up to the listing and the reviews! We cant wait to come back and stay again.I hope we were as good of guests as the welcome we felt here!

We recently stayed at the Turtle Casa with 3 other couples. We had such a fantastic time, the accommodations were perfect. We had three floors with plenty of rooms and bathroom for all. We also had a daily visit from our new best friend a cat we named Tony who is a black and white cat that looks like he’s wearing a toupee. He helped make us all feel welcomed to our place. It’s close to many restaurants and bars. It’s definitely a great vacation spot!

Unfortunately, we had a very bad week of weather, but there is nothing that the owner Marnie and staff cold do about that. Marnie and Taylor(maintenance) responded quickly at all times. We rented the whole house. The home was lovely and I am not going to give any less than the 5 stars. I just think future renters should be aware that the gaming level has a resident cat that we could not get rid of. The cat was constantly on the porch; you had to watch when opening the screen door. And you certainly couldn't have a meal on the deck without the cat wanting to jump up on you. Cat hair on the cushions. I think this is a problem because past renters have feed the cat. Future renters that have cat allergies may really have a problem. I don't know if anything can be done about the cat. We are all animal lovers but could have been nicer without it. The house was well equipped.

Great stay in Roatan

My family of 9 stayed for a week and had a great time at Turtle Casa. We loved having access to kayaks and the reef was just a swim away from the dock for snorkeling. We booked all three floors of the house and had more than enough space for all of us. We ended up renting cars and felt that was helpful since we didn't feel comfortable walking on the main road required to get to the Sandy Bay town center. That being said, there were a lot of restaurants and other attractions a short drive away. Marnie was very responsive and helpful to any questions we had and would definitely stay again!

The best!

Small family trip for our anniversary vow ceremony

Couldn't have found a more perfect place for our group of 12! The house was spotless! Had PLENTY of room and privacy for everyone. Was stocked with any and everything you would need. It's clear how much Marnie and her crew care about their guests and your experience while at their property. We had a rough time getting to RTB because of bad storms across the US, half of our group got delayed a day in Dallas, and Marnie was so attentive and checked on us throughout our whole logistical nightmare we were experiencing. I could go on and on about how great of an experience staying with Marnie was!

Great Property For Our Family Trip

We loved the location. Just outside of town but an easy drive in for dinner or to hit the west end and west bay beaches. The Kayaks were great as there were some great snorkel spots within an easy paddle.

Mostly Wonderful. Beach leaves something to be desired

We got this property, all 3 floors, for 8 adults and 4 kids (2 sibling pairs).There was plenty of space for everyone, with the siblings sharing a bedroom. Pool table on the middle floor and darts were great. We had plenty of space to cook, both kitchens were well stocked. It's an easy walk to one of the better supermarkets, and there's decent places to eat around. As advertised, our fishing charter and SCUBA shop picked us up from the dock every morning.I will admit that we came at the end of a long storm cycle, and that the caretaker did try really hard to keep up with the trash and detritus at the beach, but it is not a nice sandy beach as one would expect. The snorkeling is decent right off the dock, it is a little swim to get out there. LOVE that there are kayaks on site. Overall it's pretty great, but if you want to spend a ton of time on a white sandy beach, this is not the place for you.

Turtle Casa is the ABSOLUTE best!!

Turtle Casa was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to go back. Each level of the home was very well stocked. Lots of towels to use for the beach. Even some extra snorkel equipment in the garage. But the thing that put it over the top was Marnie! She did such a great job communicating information to us, giving us and helping us with recommendations of things to do and places to go. I cannot say enough wonderful things about all her help and guidance. We had two families traveling, and it was an absolute blast to all be together and get to stay at the same house. We really enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking; and some fishing right from the dock. This house and the people running it literally made it one of our best stays of anywhere we’ve ever been

Wanted to stay all summer!

This property, location, and hosts were more than we could have asked for. We had 8 of us, including two 9 year olds and used all three floors. The setup was perfect. And we had more than enough amenities. Marnie was also very quick to respond and give helpful guidance if needed. We did almost all of our meals at the house and found the kitchens well stocked - even with an assortment of spices. (Eldon’s is the place to shop and note that the house has grocery bags in the kitchen that you can use and save a few dollars.) And the location was phenomenal. Using the kayaks (or even swimming) to go out and snorkel was very easy. There is some really nice snorkeling straight out from the house. Nonetheless, a little to the east (straight out from the orange house) is top world class snorkeling at Spooky Channel. We swam there at least 6 times, and every time left amazed and having seen something new. Also snorkeled at Hall Moon Bay - which was fine but didn’t compare with Spooky Channel. And we snorkeled at West Bay Beach. The beach there is beautiful and the snorkeling was incredible here too and yet very different from near the house - highlights were the green moray eel and the eagle ray. Was planning on this being a once in a lifetime trip but we might actually try to come back - and if we do, Turtle Casa will be our place to go!

Awesome Stay at Turtle Casa

We were a group of 10 (two families with three young adult sons and their girlfriends). We rented the whole house and had PLENTY of room. The house was well stocked with beach towels, kitchen items, games, lounge chairs, washer/dryer, kayaks, etc. Marnie was SUPER helpful before and during our stay making sure we understood the immigration forms, providing us with helpful tips on groceries and info about the house, and making sure the house met our expectations upon arrival. The house was very clean and is well maintained. During our stay we booked a fishing charter with Ruthless Roatan (literally next door/shared dock) and had a great trip! Sandy Bay is a bit off of the grid, which was perfect for us as we were anxious to avoid the cruise ship crowds. We rented two cars at the airport and did not have any issues getting around the island. I/we would recommend Turtle Casa to friends!

Amazing stay at the Turtle Casa

My family and I (group of 10) stayed at the Turtle Casa for 8 nights and it was a great stay. the location is right in the sweet spot of Roatan. 10 minutes away from the airport, 10 minutes from West End and 18 minutes to West Bay. the house was cleaned, the check in process was smooth and Marnie was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be rebooking for next years Holiday season

Amazing vacation rental in Roatan...

This property is amazing and was a perfect fit for our party of 11. Communication with Marnie was great and her recommendations were spot on. We used Sandy Bay Divers for all our diving excursions, Ruthless Charters for a deep sea fishing trip and chef Jennie to cook our catch. The house offers privacy away from the busy West End tourist area but is only a short drive away for when you want those activities. I highly recommend this house for your Roatan vacation!

Great trip with friends

From long before our stay to well after, the communication with Marnie was great. She went out of her way to make sure we had all the answers we needed before arriving. We enjoyed great food from Chef Jennie that she recommended. Amazing sunsets from the dock. Great snorkeling using the kayaks. Johney was very accommodating along the way. After it was all over Marnie made sure we were happy and also sought feedback on companies we used to further improve her future guests experience. Top notch service in a beautiful place.

Great Family Trip

Terrific choice!

We loved our 2 week stay here with a party of 8! We rented all three floors and found this to be the perfect retreat and home base for our Roatan vacation. The owners arranged for someone to meet us in person at check in and show us everything personally. The house was amazing - plenty of room, great views, full kitchen on every floor. We used the private dock almost every day to kayak to some great snorkeling spots or just bask in the sun. We even left right from the dock for a day trip with the charter service that operates next door. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Christmas 2019

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Turtle Casa. It is well-kept, well equipped and well furnished. The property manager was very responsive to any of our requests or needs. The owners provided excellent recommendations regarding things to do, and people who could provide the services and activities that we were interested in. We were eight family members, ranging in age from 6 to 76. This was our first time in Roatan and it was a terrific experience.

July 2019 Family Vacation

There were 11 of staying at Turtle Casa. The house worked perfect us as there were 3 families, so each family had their own floor. There were a few minor issues. Only 2 of 3 grills worked. The house is equipped with a 2 car garage, but we were only able to open on side. There was recent tile repair on the gaming floor, however the grout was not sealed, so the floor was constantly sandy. The ac in the penthouse suite was not working properly. Once reported, it was fixed that same day.

AMAZING

What an amazing place! I highly recommend Turtle Casa in Sandy Bay. Check in was smooth and very courteous. Lots of communication with the owners. This house is fabulous for business trips, family get aways or just one of the floors. We just spent 10 days here with our family. We rented the whole place so spacious never felt like we were on top of each other. Decorated so beautifully very relaxing atmosphere . Waking up each morning to this beautiful view and watching sunsets from the deck each night. We had 10 adults 3 children. Each floor has their own kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms . Super clean and kept up meticulously. Each kitchen totally equipped for cooking. Grills on every deck. Washer and dryer in garage. If your a diver close to spooky channel. They have kayaks to use to paddle out to reefs for awesome snorkeling. Swimming with dolphins close by as well.Water taxis pick you up off the dock for diving, snorkeling or fishing. They have driving and cooking services which we used that were incredible. Thank you Frankie and Jenny. We took water taxi to West bay a few times and had driver pick us up. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle touristy part which we loved. Really loved location of the house felt really safe. Thank you Mark and Katie for letting our family share your place . We created memorable moments.
