"Overall we loved our stay. The drive way is steep and it is a solid 30 minutes from a store or gas station. However it is a beautiful place to be for the weekend. The sun hits the deck and land in the morning and you get a good view. The land is all on a hill so no real flat sections. Lovely fire pit which we loved. The cabin itself is very well kept and clean. Lovely details. "

"Close to Wilkesboro and about 40min from historic Boone and blowing rock. One outlet to charge your phone and electronics which is nice for an unplug getaway. It's a quiet location without traffic noise. Very pleased with the cleanliness. I was a little nervous about the porta potty situation but it was SUPER clean and I was thrilled about that. Everything was great, I would stay here again. "

"OFF THE GRID. 1 mile driveway leads to your own personal mountain cottage right next to a beautiful creek with three waterfalls house is well appointed even some extra kitchen items that were super helpful during our stay. Driving back out to the grocery store is a solid 45 minutes thank you so much for the coffee filters, salt and pepper, extra seasonings, no dishwasher, except for yours truly, but all other kitchen appliances provided were amazing. Bidets in both bathrooms should be mentioned...

"This is a quiet and truly amazing place! The setting by the creek is peaceful, and the glass roof makes it magical to fall asleep under the stars. Renee is a wonderful host—warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Her breakfast was absolutely delicious and made our mornings extra special. Check in info was sent to me and was very detailed and easy to follow.We were visiting for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend and Marc went above and beyond in having balloons in the cabin for his birthday. It is small and cozy, but had pretty much everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The area is very beautiful and we loved the swing down by the river. It’s only a short drive into town if you need any groceries or wish to have lunch or dinner. ...
