We stayed in this beautiful home Wednesday through Sunday with our grown children and grandchildren and our small dog, a total of 17 people. We had plenty of room and had a great time. The grandkids loved it so much they wanted us to buy the house and stay there. The mountain view was breathtaking! We spent a lot of time together on the deck. Everyone loved the table with the fire in the center. We hiked at Stone Mountain State Park and went to Sparta and Elkin for antiques and thrift shopping. Except for the first night we cooked all our meals in the kitchen. The younger children loved the upstairs “secret room” and had a blast playing hide and seek in the large house. The adults enjoyed playing ping pong in the game room. Everyone in our group felt this was the best home we vacationed in.

What a gorgeous view! This house was perfect for our group of 14 women. Plenty of beds, supplies, etc for all of our needs. There are so many different gathering spots inside and out. The fire pit table and ping pong were definitely hits with our group. The host was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful views

Our week at this property was awesome! The views are amazing. We had plenty of room for our group. We were able to check out the surrounding area as well - Stone Mountain Park, Grassy Creek winery and downtown Elkin. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect stay while attending a family wedding event

Fantastic views, large friendly house with great independent suite-like areas for big family gathering. Large, open mountain view porches for relaxing before and after attending the wedding festivities. Highly recommended place for your mountain retreat.

Wedding Weekend

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend! The view itself made our stay worth it but the house was also amazing and allowed for us to accomodate some of our family and closest friends. I would recommend staying here over and over again and hope we can visit again sometime!

Cousin Weekend

The first word that comes to mind when thinking about our stay is WOW! Our group comes from 4 different states (GA, WV, NC, and MD) and everyone absolutely fell in love with the home and the gorgeous view. There were 11 of us and we had more than ample space and more than enough bathrooms for all us girls. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed plus some staple items that came in handy when cooking. The furniture was most comfortable and beautifully decorated, love all the antique dressers! The neighborhood was beautiful, and we loved looking at all the homes around the area. Location is close to several vineyards and Stone Mountain State Park which we took advantage of and also found a few area restaurants about 15 minutes away. Circle L Family Restaurant was a hit for all of us, great food and service. Homeowner was more than accommodating and was pretty quick to answer any concern we had which were not many. Check in was very easy and parking was plenteous. Driveway was a little steep, but we all made it work. Would highly recommend as the pictures do not lie. The view was worth the stay and so relaxing as we even got to watch a rainstorm come in and see a double rainbow from atop our mountain.

Great House

We had a great time at the house. Easily accommodated 15 of us, double oven and kitchen setup made it easy to cook for the group, and lots of space for people to spread out and spend time together. Stone Mountain park being 10 minutes away was a great bonus- strenuous but beautiful and rewarding hike. Host was fantastic, super-responsive, and made things a breeze. The whole group was happy about our decision to stay here. Only wish it had been warm enough to go play at the neighborhood golf course!

Stunning Mountain Views

Stunning Mountain Views! Great communication with owners beforehand. In a nice neighborhood. Great place to get away and relax. We used the house for a business retreat and it was perfect for our group.

The view was so relaxing!

We all had such a wonderful time together as a small family reunion the common areas were big enough to be together while still feeling comfortable. We had 3 girls aged 4-7 and the absolutely love the fun little play nook in the loft. Possibly memories for a lifetime to remind them of their cousins.

Just fantastic.

Our family had one of the best vacations I can remember while staying here. John was super responsive when I needed anything and very helpful. The house is incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. We had everything we needed or could want. The house was great but the deck! We spent almost every waking hour on the giant deck just soaking up the view. This is truly a wonderful place. I hope we can go again. My heart is full just thinking of it. ❤️

Breathtaking View

The view is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Breathtaking! The accommodations were just what the description says about the place. Two bedrooms in the upper loft do not have air vents so it got a little warm but there were a couple of fans on the property and that helped. We would stay here again. A good location for all that we wanted to do.

Wonderful Stay

The host was very helpful prior to our stay and was always prompt answering my numerous questions. The house was gorgeous, you can’t beat the views!! We were short on some towels and the issue was resolved very quickly!! Everyone who came for our micro wedding was impressed by the house and the beauty of the location!!
