"Arrived for the visit on a motorcycle on a misty day a couple hours early while waiting for my family to check the location. The homeowner was there finishing the clean and she allowed me to park my bike in the carport and have the property early.property has a nice sitting both inside and out. Only downside to the property is that the bedrooms do not have access directly to common area. back bedroom access is either through front bedroom or bath."

"Beautifully furnished immaculate home with easy beach access. Centrally located near stores and restaurants. Loved the decks and deck furniture - fun evening on the deck feeling like we were “ in the trees.” A lot of love went into this place. Lots of nice “extras”: a keurig with coffee pods, tea bags and tea kettle, books and games , beach towels to name a few. Although there is no beach view, you still feel like you are on the beach. Highly recommended!"

"Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. We did a lot of cooking and missed not having...

"We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. I really appreciated the yoga room with some small weights for morning workouts. The back porch was perfect for morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable and shower in primary...
