"I stayed at the Grand as I wanted to experience an old English style seaside holiday, I was not disappointed. I arrived by train and it was steps away from the station, only a short walk to the beach, shops and alternative places to eat. I Had two dinners in the restaurant, overlooking the sea which were both lovely. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly. The Hotel is full of old style charm and you just wouldn't get that in a new property so it is a unique place to stay and I would...

"Staff & breakfast excellent. Room was very clean but it was very hot and the drains smelt at times. This severely impacted my sleep. My rating is purely based on that, suspect if i went when it was cooler it would be different. One easy thing to help would be for the windows to be opened fully."
