"Beautiful place, but, there was a couple of things that concerned me a little. The bedrooms were closest to the front door (the solid jail door) and owner prefers that you do not try to open it. If there was ever a fire it would be very tricky getting out. Second, not a good place for small children unless a partial chain link fence was put up at the bluff"

"Property grounds and location are AMAZING. House is on the smaller side, especially if sharing with a separate family (no bathroom in upstairs loft area), but if you plan to be outdoors all day (and you should!), it really doesn’t matter. Host was super responsive. Overall, a great trip. "

"Everything was excellent me and my family really enjoyed. We would most definitely choose to stay at Rods Place at Lake Martin again. The owners are wonderful to work with. "

"Perfectly located for an Auburn graduation! We had plenty of space to spread out in the house and we enjoyed the backyard. Great house!!"

"The home had so many wonderful qualities that it is difficult to know where to start. It is located on a relatively quiet location on the lake, great for relaxing, yet easy to get anywhere by boat. A major bonus is that the lot is flat, there are no steep hills to access the water. The beautiful home has 2 large-sized master bedrooms on the first floor, with additional bedrooms and livings spaces on the second floor. There is a well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable living area on the 1st...
