This was by far the cleanest, coziest and best appointed cabin we have stayed at. Communication was almost instant - the cabin was immaculate - there were so many fantastic little touches it was as if we stayed in a 5 star hotel! We loved the location, took daily walks and toured around the area taking in the beautiful scenery and ate some fantastic meals. People in all the surrounding towns were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family. We really wish we could have just moved in and stayed! It's on our return to list for next year. Thank you for an amazing stay! :)

Great cabin. Very clean with lots of outdoor seating areas on the wraparound porch. Lauren was very communicative throughout the process getting back to answer questions within an hour. Ripley Beach is a five minute walk from the cabin and our children enjoyed exploring the property, it's not a swimming or fishing location due to the current - at least not when we stayed in late August. We would stay again, our children are already asking to go again next summer.

Girls 60th celebration

House was perfect for my friends and I to hang out and enjoy. Very clean, very well appointed! Had everything we needed. Host was super nice and accessible. Would definitely stay here again!! We all loved it!

Great getaway

We wanted to getaway from the hustle and bustle and just have some peace and quiet. We absolutely loved this cabin. It was perfect place to getaway from reality for a few days with the family. Loved that everything you needed and then some was there. It is close to things but still secluded which is exactly what we wanted. Being pet friendly and having our dog with us was perfect. Just wish there was easier access to the beach. Which is not the property owners, its public. Steps are a bit steep and hard with the dog. Other than that everything was perfect!! Definitely would stay there again!!

I have been staying here once a year for several years now. Each time I am reminded of what a perfect place it is! Lauren and her team do not miss a single detail, and the location is the absolute best. Clean, well stocked, so nicely decorated, there are no words that could ever do this place justice! Oasis of Serenity

It was above and beyond what is described. Very clean, and stocked with everything you need. So peaceful and still not sure which was more beautiful, the inside of cabin or the outside. Location was great. Close to anything you may want to venture out to see. Although once there you may not want to go anywhere. Loved just sitting on porch and listening to birds. Saw two fawns in yard. We just cant say enough about this place. Just a short walk to best view of Lake Erie. And if you love to cook, as I do, it was so well stocked with just about anything you need or want. Thank you for turning our moments into the best memories ever.

Gorgeous surroundings

The cabin was very nice, well stocked, and spacious. The wraparound porch was lovely, and provided great scenery for some of our meals. The nature of some of the beds in those little alcoves could make sleeping cramped for a larger number, but for six it worked perfectly. By far and away the best highlight is that overlook. Just a short walk away, beautiful view while benefiting from the shade of the trees. Woods and beach in one location really can't be beat. The beach itself was slightly harder to access than I had realized, but it didn't stop us going down there several times. While the weather was cloudy enough to prevent us getting a perfect sunset, I can only imagine what that view must be like. What we got was stunning enough.

Clean space- room for some improvements.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It’s very clean especially because dogs are allowed which we absolutely LOVE. Everything is modern and tasteful. It’s well stocked with anything you need- and I mean anything. Good attention to detail and easy communication with Lauren. We spent my 40th birthday weekend here with another family, our children, and as mentioned our dogs. The beach itself is quite private and beautiful. Close to eerie- we loved Presque Isle. Barcelona beach is a few miles up the road from the cabin and was a great fishing spot for the boys. Cons: The pictures of the wooden stairs down to the water needs update or removed- there are stairs missing and broken and there’s about a 20-30ft drop there. The metal stairs located over toward the public beach are accessible but they’re very steep to be careful and there’s one section midway that is treacherous and gave me major anxiety that one of the kids was going to fall backward. I guess it’s hard to explain, but it’s definitely a little scary. No dishwasher, washer/dryer there- which would be a major time saver and improvement to the space. A small pantry would also be beneficial. A small handheld vacuum would be great also bc with kids and dogs you’re dragging sand in and out bc of the beach and obviously being in the woods.

Highly Recommend - Great Views

Booked this property to watch the 2024 solar eclipse (more than 2 years advance!) and it did not disappoint! Beyond the fact that it was the perfect size for my group (7 adults), very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, the best part of this property by far is the views!! I highly recommend this property - the property manager is great, was a great value, and it was the perfect setting for witnessing the total eclipse - an experience I’ll never forget!

NYE Getaway

The hubs and I went for a NYE relaxing getaway with our three dogs. The place was perfect and exactly as described. It had everything you needed, lots of blankets and towels, clean, kitchen was well equipped for cooking, etc. The property is also really nice, the dogs enjoyed sniffing and trudging through the trees, the view of the lake is beautiful and the stone firepit was put to good use. We will definitely be booking again in warmer weather!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This place was perfect for 4 adults. Very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. You can get to a spectacular Lake Erie beach down a steep staircase near the back of the property. Chautauqua was a good 20 minute or so drive from the house, but we enjoyed the commute through miles of vineyards. Several wineries and breweries in the area. The fire pit and wrap around porch got lots of use. The hosts provided coffee, tea, and S’mores ingredients which was a nice touch! We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful country cabin situated in the Lake Erie grape growing region. A perfect spot to explore Lake Erie beaches, fishing, and all that Chautauqua county has to offer. Fantastic hosts, very well maintained property, exceptionally clean.
