Chris was an exemplary host. We were able to check in early. He also offered a late checkout which we didn’t need.We were greeted with music playing and a chilled bottle of Proseco on the table. A beautiful sunset followed though not sure if he has that kind of pull.The house was as advertised. A porch looking out on the lake as well as a covered pergola just feet from the cliff on Erie provided a serene aspect to the stay. Spent nearly every waking hour at the house in one of those two places. The master bedroom offered an inspiring view of the lake. Two guest bedrooms at the opposite end of the house were comfy.The house’s kitchen was modern with anything you needed to produce and store a meal. A gas grille off the laundry room made steaks very tasty. The coup de grace was a flower garden between the house and the lake worthy of a small English estate. Credit to Chris’s partner Dick.The house itself was decorated with both a professional rigor mixed with myriad items with which Chris and Dick expressed their romance with the property. It was a wonderful respite for two kids from Dunkirk now retired to Florida.Finally, Nancy and I left some personal items behind absentmindedly. Chris dispatched them to Florida within 24 hours. Bravo!
