"This place was fantastic. Exactly as pictured and described. More than enough room for the 18 of us. Had all kitchen things you could need, paper supplies to start also. Spectacular views. The water was perfect for the young ones, enjoyed the boats as well. Nice sandy beach area. Easy communication with owner. Close to shopping and Lake George. Could not have been better. Would love to come back another time."

"Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. "

"First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!"

"Our stay was very nice. Place was clean and organized. We are a family of 4, Three adults and a teen. The sofa/futon is a pull out double bed. It was ok. If left open to bed, not much room during the day with kitchen so close. The drive to the lake was short and very nice. Lots of places to eat in the area. Great shops in area. All in all, a very nice place to stay. "

"Weather was perfect, plenty of sleeping and private space. So much fun had by all three generations of extended family. Beach was great for the littles. Our 4 year old learned to kayak. We were expecting a dock for our boat from the pictures online but we made it work. Relaxing!!!"

"We had an awesome week of great weather. There was more than enough room for our family of 13 adults and 2 babies and every house was fully equipped in the kitchens. The lake is so clean and beautiful and the set up of the docks is perfect. The sunsets were amazing. Deb was so helpful and very quick to respond to us when we needed something. "We absolutely loved our stay in the cabins! They were warm and cozy, making for an amazing experience. Being by the river was incredible - falling asleep to the sound of the water was pure bliss. We also had a blast swimming in the lake with the baby. The cabin itself was spotless and very welcoming. Overall, we'd give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to come back!"
