"This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. "This property is amazing! It is steeped in Costa Rican charm including hand-painted tiles and murals and hand-carved doors. Amazing views of the lake and the volcano. Patrick was very helpful recommending activities and helping getting them set up. The house is large, but it's set up in a way that our 4-person family still felt cozy. It also has a relatively accessible bedroom on the first floor that makes it perfect for those with older family members."

"The Villa was wonderful. The grounds were like a botanical garden. We saw wildlife, howler monkeys, toucans and numerous birds, from the patio! It's location was perfect. The proximity to adventures and local restaurants was ideal. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Greivin & Heylin thought of everything when creating the Yarumo Lodge Rio Celeste Black Chalet! My family of 4, including 12 and 16 year old sons, had a fabulous weeklong stay at the end of June. "Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. Da la sensación que estás dentro de la selva, ya que tienen un jardín muy bonito. Desayuno muy completo con café, fruta cortada, tostadas, huevos, plátano frito. Hecho al momento. Volvería al sitio!"

"Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. "

"This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)"

"Está bien para estar con amigos, no tiene aire acondicionado solo un ventilador enfriado por agua o hielo, el agua de la ducha nunca sirvió bien. La piscina espectacular, la cocina bien equipada, pero se podrían tener mejores utensilios. La atención muy buena y respuestas prontas. Si podríamos hospedarnos de nuevo."

"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

Comme l’endroit est près du lac et du sol, bcp de petits moustiques sont présents. Bref, nous recommandons l’endroit. "

"Sejour fabuleux avec des hotes aux petits soins. Tout etait parfait meme les conseils des restaurants. Pour un sejour proche du rio celeste c'est le lieu ideal et ne pas hésiter a prendre un diner sur place. Ce fut fort sympathique a un tarif tres raisonnable "

"Always nice views on the lake. Close to New Arenal which is useful and we found good restaurants. The house was in the mountains and it was very quiet. It is suitable to have a 4x4 to reach the premises."
