Burley, Beechwoodlane

Wat een prachtige, bijzondere ervaring ons verblijf in de Nieuw Forest aan de Beechlane. Gezellig huisje in een geweldige omgeving waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen en fietsen.

Lovely location in the "New forest"

Very good location, nice, comfortable, clean property, has everything you need. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful, ideal for a rest. Carole an Chris were great hosts, very responsive and friendly. Would highly reccomend!

Heart of the forest

Wonderful setting, great access to village, pub and cycling trails. Carole could not have been more friendly and accommodating. BBQ in the garden was lovely. We’ll be back!

Heerlijke setting

Prachtige plek met veel eigen buitenruimte, vriendelijke gastheer- en vrouw en ruim voorzien van dikke handdoeken, kussens, beddengoed. Geen vaatwasser maar dat was voor mij geen enkel probleem. Goed geoutilleerde keuken. Heerlijk wandelen, dichtbij de kust .

We have just spent a wonderful week at the cottage exploring the New Forest. Carole and Chris couldn’t of been more helpful and were always on hand if we needed anything! The garden is gorgeous and our children enjoyed playing in it! I highly recommend booking this cottage it’s central to getting out and about whether that is driving around the new forest or visiting the local beaches! We can’t wait to return !

A super getaway treat

What a find! A real home from home property, with everything you could wish for in a holiday let. Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! Loved the feather duvet… The hosts were very welcoming and made suggestions for walks, trips and restaurants. A joy to stay in the fold yard and see the ponies in the paddocks. There is so much to do in the New Forest, staying in The Dairy Cottage was a real treat. Thank you for accepting us into your home Carole.

A wonderful place to stay

We had a really enjoyable holiday. The Dairy Cottage was a lovely place to stay, very quiet, extremely clean, well furnished and comfortable. It was a joy to enjoy meals outside in the garden. All towels, tea towels and bed linen were provided including a welcome pack with tea bags, coffee etc. The New Forest is a lovely area to visit. We are particularly interested in Gardens and really enjoyed visiting Compton Acres, Mottisfont, Kingston Lacy and Furzey Gardens. Bucklers Hard and museum are well worth visiting. The Colin Nash restaurant at the Retreat is a hidden gem. Carole is a lovely host, very helpful, informative and excellent with communication.

A perfect getaway!

We arrived for a long weekend in Burley and were met by Carole who gave us a fantastic overview of the property, answering any questions we had, as well as giving us some great recommendations for the local area. The property is set in a fantastic location and walking in any direction will give you amazing scenery - we took our coffee on a sunrise walk every day and the early morning light through the trees was incredible! The house itself was really nice and quiet, with a spacious garden to unwind in. There are some great local shops which have most things you would need to buy, and if you want a larger supermarket or store, these are only 10-15 minutes drive away. Really great stay, would highly recommend and I am already looking forward to visiting Burley again!

Perfect location

The property is in the most perfect location, surrounded by the varying landscapes of the New Forest on all sides. It's comfortable, has everything you need and had a homely feel. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful with french windows from the sitting room and main bedroom. Great for the dogs too. The only negative for me was the lack of an information pack with clear instructions on bins, "how to", easy local directions, etc. The owner wasn't immediately available and I don't really want to be disturbing the host at all. A simple FAQ sheet to avoid frustrations and clear contact instructions would be very helpful. Other than that, i can't recommend it highly enough and it was ideal for a relaxing break.

Lovely cottage in the forest

We had a really great time staying here. The cottage was cosy and warm, with plenty of outside space. It was really well located for Burley, local pubs, shops, even cycle hire and of course the beautiful forest. Carole was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Would highly reccomend!

Best place ever..

Carole and Chris could not do enough for us, they were responsive to requests that we had and we’re just the loveliest hosts ever! We will definitely stay at the property again and would highly recommend.

Family reunion

A lovely idyllic setting and very helpful host. The only thing I would want different would be to have a washing machine in the cottage and washing line outside. Perfect position to explore Burley and the woods.

Lovely cottage

We had a really lovely stay. The cottage is in a great spot, is clean and well equipped and has a nice garden. There is also a very friendly dog who our boys loved! Would definitely recommend.
