Wonderful, spacious house very close to the beach. The host was attentive and helpful, he responded quickly to our messages and resolved our concerns. There was a mandatory housekeeping on the second morning of our stay separate from the expected fee on our departure - it was not expensive just unexpected. There is limited hot water so stagger your showers if staying with a large group! Overall, the place was amazing and I would definitely stay again!

Casa Canal was amazing! We went with four kids between 5-8 years old and they loved everything about it. The pool was amazing, and the beach was literal steps away. Rincon had so many fun things to do, and it was one of our best trips. 10/10 recommend!

Friendly host, amazing location. The beach was particularly great — no rocks, very mild waves that were fun and safe for the kids, uncrowded, and an easy walk into town.

Great location right on the beach, plenty of space to enjoy and very private which was a plus. Pool was amazing with a swim up bar. Nearby restaurants and stores if something was needed. Stu and his staff (Millie) were great to deal with and very accommodating.

Always stayed in San Juan. The West is the Best. Stu was super easy to work with and had great restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend 413 Scuba/Snorkeling. Kohl was knowledgeable and safety first. Saw so many fish! The beach by the house has much better sand and surf compared to Dome, Steps, Lighthouse. Very enjoyable and beautiful sunsets. No more big hotels in San Juan. A plus stay.

Nice But?

Overall had a great time the area is great easy trip into town for shopping and restaurants. The pool area and beach is the highlight of this property. The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us. Easy access to the beach is awesome.Now for the But. No cooler, beach umbrella or chairs to take to the awesome beach or to use when we all went on other excursions around the Island . Hard to pack that stuff when you are coming to the Island by plane. The kitchen needs some attention no toaster but a very used toaster oven that barely can toast a piece of bread. Main microwave was broken but did have a very small one on the counter. Refrigerator did not cool from day one. Was told the fridge temps were checked before our check in. There was melting ice in the freezer and the fridge struggled to keep things cold. Had to throw out multiple things during our stay. The BBQ grill is very small and I think seen better days. Upstairs guest bedroom A/C had issues from day one also couldn't use it for most of our stay. Handle to one of the balcony doors broke and was told it happens often.When I mentioned the problems I would always get a response about how hard it is to get repair people out to fix things. But 2 hours after our checkout was told the ac was fixed and fridge repair guy was there. With a little more maintenance and repair of the little things this could be a awesome house.

Vacay in Rincon

Property was listed. Very nice, located in a safe community along the swimmable beach. Yes swimmable and sandy beach. The house is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and more. The house was well appointed, with many amenities such as the pool bar with TV, outdoor bathroom and showers. Stu the host was very attentive and was always available. He did check on us via text to ensure our vacation was going great! Overall very satisfied with the house, location and host and highly recommend it!

Fantastic!

We loved our stay at Casa Canal. the house was well appointed, pool was amazing, beach was exceptional and close to downtown Rincon. Stu, the property manager, was attentive and great to communicate with although we had nothing that needed his assistance! Going back next year. Was our best Puerto Rico trip so far!

A slice of heaven

A place that lived up to the pictures! The backyard was amazing. A great pool with a swim up bar, a beautiful fountain, plenty of space to relax and hang out with the iguanas. It was a very short walk to an isolated beach. The inside was spacious, a large kitchen, big dining and living rooms. Stu was a great host. I give this place my highest recommendation.

An amazing stay in a beautiful beach villa in Rincon

Our party of 4 adults and 2 children stayed in the villa for 6 nights in October to mark my husband's 50th birthday. We started each day by walking a few steps along the canal to a very beautiful beach and swimming in the warm ocean. The beach is sandy, with no rocks and had hardly any other people on it - just the way we like it. Both the adults and the children loved the waves! We enjoyed watching the pelicans dive into the water to catch fish. Later on we spent time in the beautiful pool area; the whole backyard is lovely. For dinner we either went out or used the barbecue to cook our dinner. It was great to be able to walk along the beach to get to the town centre. There are several good restaurants a short drive away. The villa itself is very spacious and well appointed. Both the living/dining areas and the bedrooms worked great for us. Highlights: the location on the beach; swimming in the ocean and fantastic sunsets on the beach; the pool; watching wildlife - both on the beach and in the backyard; the weekly Art Walk in town centre. Overall, an amazing stay in the beautiful Rincon!

Nice accommodation

Friends and I enjoyed our week at Casa Canal. Stu the property manager was very responsive and house was tidy- two negatives- the house reeked of smoke which was very unpleasant. The pool area lacked any comfortable seating. The gate was also broken the entire week, so for 4 women in our 60s opening and closing a steel gate threw a few backs out.i guess that’s three negatives

Great location, great beach, good house

The location is perfect with quick access to the beach and a nice pool and swim up bar. Excellent views from the balcony on all sides. Overall, the house is in good shape and the owner, Stu, is very personable. A few things I wish I knew ahead of time: - You have to pay him directly through PayPal after the first payment on VRBO. - The hot water heater is really small and they expect you to not keep it on so showers are a little rough. - You can't run all the room ACs at once or it will stop working, which is tough while sleeping. - There are a lot of rules with threats of daily charges or removal if not followed. - You have to pay for cleaning midway through, even though the rules require daily sweeping and cleaning. - The master bathroom window doesn't close so it's very muggy in there.

Great location/ beach house

The house was great for 3 couples. Plenty of space and a beautiful pool. The grill needed to be replaced and there was a broken door handle, but otherwise it was perfect for our group. We enjoyed seeing all the iguanas. The beach was easily accessed.
