"Walden is always a great place to stay. On our first morning we had a coffee maker that had picked that day to stop functioning. Contacted the host and he came by very quickly with a brand new coffee maker.Beautiful view of the river for a quiet peaceful weekend!"

"This cabin is as exactly as promised. It is the perfect secluded retreat and getaway location. The amenities and house are well taken care of. During our stay, we had an issue with the hot water. In this day and age, it would be so easy to lose your cool, but we can't say enough about how responsive the owners were to take care of this problem and stay in contact with us regarding the issue. Not every host will do that. We sincerely hope to get back in the future."

"Beautiful riverside property. Inside of house is quaint. It took a while to get the place heated but then everything else worked. The fire pit and outdoor area was nice. The primary shower and bathroom sink have pretty low water pressure but the other bathroom and shower are fine. The hot tub could have been cleaner so I didn’t give it a full 5. Otherwise, cute place and great for families or couples."

"The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures portray. Everything we needed for the perfect stay was there. The snowfall and seeing lots of deer were an added plus. We enjoyed the Skyline Drive and an afternoon at Luray Caverns. Our host was also very helpful! I definitely recommend this cabin. "

"Very welcoming home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with our family. It served as a perfect “base camp” for hikes at Shenandoah National Park. The home owner has provided additional amenities (soap, shampoo, k-cups, games,…) which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay."
