Un hotel mas
Las instalaciones son nuevas. El personal bien. El desayuno un poco pobre en cantidad y variedad y el lugar para desayunar chico. Tuve que llamar al personal para que repusieran mercadería en el desayuno ya que en la cocina no había nadie controlando. Si bien lo hicieron rápido parece que le molestó lo solicitado.

Please note that breakfast lay out is always taken care by two employees at least - receptionist and the cleaning lady. We are sorry if you had some discomfort but sure there was no bother at all for us to check and to replace some stuff immediately. Die Zimmer sind groß und praktisch eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber, auch die Sanitäreinrichtungen. Das Frühstück besteht aus Toast, Kochschinken, Käsescheiben, Eiern, Butter, Marmelade, verschiedenen Ceralien, Joghurt, Saft, Kaffe und Tee und wird für 5 € pro Person angeboten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. ich habe mich hier wohl gefühlt und komme wieder.

Was mir gefallen hat: Sehr sauberes Hotel. Gute Matratze und weiche weiße Bettwäsche. Das Zimmer war groß. Praktische Küche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Was ich nicht so toll fand: Bei der Buchung wusste ich nicht, dass die Toiletten und Duschen auf dem Flur sind. Das sollte offener kommuniziert werden.

Was hard to get any sleep as room 13 was very noise and on my last night room 11 was extremely noise and was moving furniture and there was throwing and banging noise. Sadly there isnt like any other cheap hotels a cattle, te or coffee or even a cup in the room. Tv in comon room wasn’t showing much.pillows was very soft. I needed put 2 together to get any sleep. Otherwise room was good, clean and furnishings even cheap were looking nice. Staff was great.

Very convenient location. What I didn't like were the shared bathrooms but it was Hockey championships so everywhere else was fully booked. The breakfast does not cater for gluten-intolerant, vegan or vegetarians enough. There is cereal, cheese and boiled eggs. Breakfast vastly needs improving with alternative options and alternative milks.

This feedback is misleading and false - this guest started bringing troubles from the very beginning.When he was checking in at the reception he was wondering what was the price of his reservation in case of direct booking with the hotel hinting that if he cancels his reservation he could get a better price from us - we politely refused it and informed him that the reservation must remain as it is - moreover that it was prepaid reservation. Later - some time after he checked in he made a complain to the reception that there was some bad smell in the room - when the duty manager asked him to clarify what smell exactly it was and where and asked him to let her enter the room to check it - he couldn’t explain what smell it was and he didn’t let the reception enter the room. After that he didn’t talk about it but we received few calls later from the guest support department about this and reception explained to them the same. The morning when he was checking out he complained again that there was a bad smell like from sewerage system in the whole room. When he left I personally - with the cleaning lady - went to the room and the only bad smell we found was a terrible odor of the dirty human body mixed with the smell of rotten cucumbers - no any smell of sewerage was there at all. And let me point out that every room in our hotel is being cleaned and checked after every guest according to normal hotel standards - this room was same cleaned and checked and everything was fine there prior his arrival. So we find this feedback falke and totally misleading.

Hintansa veroinen, eli ei kovin kaksinen. Parkkipaikka, jota mainostettiin ilmaiseksi, olisi pitänyt kuulemma varata etukäteen. Kulku parkkipaikalle ei onnistu turvallisesti edes tavallisella autolla, koska joku älypää on tehnyt portinsuulle kynnyksen, johon ainakin perusToyotan pohja kolahti todella ikävästi. Vierailun "kruunasi" lämpimän veden käyttökatko ja uuden työntekijän perehdyttäminen diktaattorin ottein. Ei tapahdu kuten Suomesssa. Jalakanat oli jotain vesitiiviitä muovipusseja

Kleines Hotel
Dieses sehr kleine, auf einem (wenig gepflegten) Hinterhof befindliche Hotel ist über eine unscheinbare Tunneleinfahrt eines Hauses zu erreichen. Nur ein kleines Schild an der Tunneleinfahrt weist auf das Hotel hin. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind nur sehr wenige vorhanden. Auch hier ist das Personal sehr entgegenkommend und kann bei einem frühen Check Out (bis 08.30 Uhr) auch Parkplätze einer benachbarten Firma anbieten. Motorräder dürfen nach Angaben des Personals außerhalb des Hofes ganz offiziell auch auf dem Gehweg an den Hauswänden abgestellt werden. Durch die Lage mitten im Botschaftsviertel soll es sehr sicher sein. Die Altstadt ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Eine nette Bar ist direkt um die Ecke. Die Zimmer sind sauber und einfach eingerichtet. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt oder Zwischenstopp sehr zu empfehlen.

Value for the money if you manage by yourself.
I had a real bargain and I did not read the description very carefully. I had a shared toilet/bathroom but it was not a problem - in the hours (early) that I used it I did not have to queue. The common room allows for storing your groceries but no facilities to cook. The complimentary breakfast is not luxurious but it gets you nourished before you go to town. The location is the best of this hotel. The old town is within walkable distance and the public transportation is close and the network is extensive. It only is quite difficult to find out the lines and where they go except by trial and error and Google map. If you come by car remember to book parking in advance.

Bra och enkelt
Hotellet var bra och i centrala delarna staden. Jag valde hotellet för prisets skull därmed fick jag kvalitet efter det. När jag checkade in var det bra service och fick hjälp med det jag behövde. Rummet var fint och det såg ut som rummet var ganska nya. Hade ingen dusch eller egen toalett, utan fick dela det med andra. Var ändå smidigt. Detta var inget jag fråga om, men man städade inte rummet eller tömde papperskorgar de fyra nätter jag bodde där. Funkar fint för mig, men andra kanske vill ha det på annat. Sängarna var sköna att sova i. Ljudisolerat ut, men det hördes mycket väl då andra gäster gick i korridorerna. Bra wi-fi Fruktosen var mycket Spartansk. Macka med ost och skinka. Var helt ok, hade inte förväntat mig något annat då jag kom dit.

Hervoragende Lage im Zentrum des Jugendstilviertels. Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch, das Frühstück sehr "basic", eher ein Hostel als ein Hotel. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Perfekt für den, der diese Kombination mag.

Mukava pieni, siisti hotelli. Hyvät napakat sängyt mutta huonot tyynyt. Suihkut ja wc käytävällä. Aamupala tosi niukka mutta ihan riittävä. Joka päivä samat tarjottavat. Mukava henkilökunta. Huoneiden seinät kuin paperia, kaikki kuuluu mitä seinän takana tapahtuu. Hotelli isojen talojen sisäpihalla mutta löytyi hyvien opasteiden ansiosta.

Good place for little money.
Stay here already 3rd time. I like it... nice people that work there and stay there. Clean, simple, and easy to get to. The location is a bit far away from the center and old town but same time only 15 min walk.

Bestes Hotel für diesen Preis
Freundliches Hotel in bester Lage. Art-Nouveau - Häuser „um die Ecke“, Altstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das „kleine Frühstück“ entpuppt sich als ausreichender Start in den Tag. Sehr sauber und angenehme Atmosphäre. An der Rezeption wurden alle Fragen kompetent und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Am besten fanden wir die „alternative“ Stadtführung nicht durch die Altstadt, sondern durch die Markthalle und die Vororte mit viel Information über das moderne Riga mit anregenden Gesprächen zwischen allen Teilnehmern und dem Führer, Kasbars.

Don't judge the book by its cover
You might go through a shady alleyway to get here, but like in a Harry Potter-book, you end up in a place much more different. Through a white door you come to a very clean hotel I'd recommend to everyone.

Negatiivinen asia hotellissa ja lähinnä huoneessa oli kokolattiamatto, joka oli myös aamiais-/oleskeluhuoneessa. Allergiselle ihmiselle se on kauhistus. Ensimmäinen yö vielä menetteli, mutta sen jälkeen olo pikkuhiljaa huononi. Tukkoinen nenä, yskä ja kuumeilu oli lopullinen seuraus vietetystä ajasta huoneissa.
