Our stay was amazing. The property was great. The cabin had a large open living area with plenty of bedroom space for our crowd of 7. Will definitely plan to return.

My wife and I unfortunately had a family emergency on the way to the property and had to turn back. Our friends continued the adventure and nothing the praise for the property owners and property. Can not wait for our next visit.

Jeep adventure
The group was a family of 4 & a married couple & 2 more Jeep friends! We call us an eating club not a jeep club! We enjoyed going trail riding throughout Ridgeway, Ouray & Telliride Colorado! The house had information about local restaurants diners activities, etc. If we had any needs or questions Tara would get to us asap Tara was a great help with our trip. Hope to be back to this Vrbo in near future!

Great Stay!
Everything was as listed in the VRBO ad. Tara was a very gracious host. Great location, fantastic views, relaxing atmosphere. We used the grill and the fire pit provided. There is also a nice sitting area along side the river in the back of the property that we enjoyed. My grandsons were out every morning feeding Blaze and Sky (the horses) carrots. I happily recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the San Juan Mountain area.

Comfortable space for our family
This cabin was the perfect size for our family gathering of 5 people. Everything we needed for cooking and relaxing was provided and the couches were very comfy! We played several of the board games that were available. The best part was the proximity to Ouray!

Perfect for us
We stayed here over a long weekend and couldn't have picked a better spot. It was cozy but spacious at the same time, and had every amenity we needed (two bathrooms for the little kiddos was a huge plus). I almost wish we hadn't arrived with so many activities scheduled in advance for our mini-vacation so we could have enjoyed the comfort of the cabin more! Overall, the hosts were very thoughtful in making sure every need was covered, and it certainly showed. Would definitely rent here again!

Great place to stay
Really nice open and spacious cabin…would definitely stay again. Privacy between room and great open living room and open space. Lots of games and nice space for kids. Love the just out of town feel but close drive to hotsprings. Would highly recommend

This is a perfectly located cabin with amazing views! The cabin has everything for the perfect getaway to explore the local towns. We loved every second of our relaxing time there! Hot water, good coffee, and comfy beds! I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Ridgway Cabin
This was a very nice place to stay. We were Elk hunting for the first time in Colorado. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and was centrally located to some of the spots we were hunting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A beautiful cabin with breathtaking views. Loved visiting with the owners horses and dogs.

Our family enjoyed the two nights in your cabin. Beautiful Colorado weather and scenery. Short drive up 23 to the outdoor pavilion where Sally Swartz Celebration of Life was held.

Cozy Cabin
This was our favorite VRBO rental on our recent trip to Colorado. The Cabin is clean, well stocked and very comfortable for four adults. Cozy chairs in front of the fireplace and soft comfy couches to relax on after a long day of hiking and exploring the area. Tara and Rick are wonderful hosts and were available to answer any of our questions during our stay and even after we had left the cabin, when someone in our party ended up breaking her wrist. I would defiantly rent this cabin again when visit Ouray. Thank you Tara & Rick for making us feel so comfortable and welcome. All the best to you. Paige, Dave, Wendy & Dan.

Cabin in Ouray County, Colorado
Our stay was fabulous. Everyone had such a good time. Tara was an excellent host. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the grounds were so quiet and beautiful. The fire pit, chairs and picnic table at the river were such a nice touch. This property was what we were looking for and so much more! Highly recommend for someone who is looking for a quiet, comfortable and beautiful place to get away from it all.

All around excellent experience.
My family came to Ridgeway on Spring Break to enjoy the snow and hot springs and avoid the crowds. We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin was larger than expected. It was very clean, and our hosts had ensured that we had everything we needed to stay the week. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I loved this home plenty of room and close to Ridgeway and Ouary lots of parking for our trucks and trailers a beautiful view of the mountains just a wonderful place to stay if we decide to go back we would love to stay there again.

Extremely convenient
We spent time in Ouray, Ridgway, and Telluride and this place was a perfect fit. It was closer to the road than we were expecting but the river masks most of the traffic noise. We had everything we needed to cook, play games, and spend some time on the river bank!

Room to roam near Ouray
Our families had plenty of room to spread out inside and outside at Brown Bear Cabins. The master bedroom in particular had a cozy sitting area with a perfect view of Mt. Sneffels. It was an easy walk on the property to the Ouray River, with a shaded picnic table in the late afternoon/evening. Tara responded promptly and helpfully to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ouray.

Wonderful trip to Ouray!
We really enjoyed our stay in Ouray. The cabin was super nice. It is very spacious and well maintained. Everything we needed for the cabin during our stay was provided by the host (Tara). She is a very attentive host and checked in with us on numerous occasions to see how things were going and if we needed anything from her. The location is great spot as well. It is located conveniently between Ouray and Ridgway. This is a very beautiful part of the country. I would highly recommend visiting this area if you have a chance. We would definitely rent the cabin again if we visit the area again.

Beautiful Stay
Everything was as pictured and had lots of space to spread out. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the wildlife. Quick drive into Ouray or Ridgeway. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen was situated for in home meals. Enjoyed the quiet respite.

Great Cabin!
Had an amazing stay at this cabin! It’s location is perfect to get into Ouray! So easy to get to even in the middle of a snowstorm! Tara was amazing and kept us up to date on the snowstorm on our travel day and even came and plowed the driveway! The cabin was spacious and fully stocked with board games and other activities! If you are looking for a fun getaway this is the place! I was sad to leave! Will definitely be coming back in the summer!!

Perfect spot for a white Christmas!
Tara and Rick were excellent hosts! Warm, cozy and plenty of space for a family of six. We had everything we needed for our weeklong stay. Will come back in summer next time :)

Thanksgiving week
Our stay was awesome. Tara was attentive to my family , and her husband even came and cleared the driveway of the snow fall. Tara was there at all times if we needed something. The cabin was great and had everything thing we needed. The location was great and close to many activities. I will be definitely booking another stay here, hopefully sooner then later.
