Wonderfully located base for our adventure into Ouray. Full kitchen was amazing. The view is incredible. No ac but it’s cool at night and there are plenty of fans. Would absolutely stay here again.

Ridgway paradise getaway

This home was absolutely beautiful!!!! The views were absolutely gorgeous. The star gazing was beyond words. Plenty of seating space inside and out. This house was extremely clean and well kept. It easily met all of our needs. The only downside that I somehow overlooked was that there was no a/c. When we visited it was averaging 86deg. It was pretty warm during the day at night it was comfortable once you had the windows open. I would definitely stay here again if I travel outside of the summer months.

Views, Views, Views!!!

I really loved everything about this property! Great cabin feel inside. Secluded yet incredibly convenient to town and highway to Telluride. I was alone so I didn't use the downstairs, which adds 2 bedrooms and kitchenette/tv lounge with outside access. The property had everything I needed and much more! I plan to rebook in the summer. Lots of birds and wildlife roaming through the property.

Amazing vacation home

We stayed at this lovely home and it was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and excellent location with beautiful views. We would definitely be happy to come stay at this home for another vacation.

The location and layout of the house was very good.

We loved watching Elk and Mule Deer from the deck of the cabin every evening. The Cabin was about 20 minutes from where we rented ATV’s and rode the Alpine Loop and Imogene/Yankeeboy Basin trails.

Beautiful location and home, but not for remote work

The location and views are incredibly beautiful. It was an easy drive to many great day trips. As mentioned in a few other reviews, the internet connection at this home barely exists. It's ok if you only need to send emails or work in Google Docs on a single device, but if you want to stream anything (especially on multiple devices), or participate in Zoom meetings, it will not work. I would 100% come back for an "unplugged" experience.

Best view

Never seen an awesome view like this one. This view surprised everyone and this is the eye catch moment. The house is pretty clean and the property manager was interactive. Only thing we didn’t like is the accuracy of the location and the directions mentioned in the listing which was confusing. We had to check each PO Box to arrive at the location. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful Home, Did not want to leave

Home was very clean inside and looked just like the pictures. Well appointed. The only surprise was pulling into the garage, it was a hot mess, I even got out of the car and double checked I was at the right place as I thought I was pulling into an occupied house! House is also lower altitude than google maps makes you think it is but views are still beautiful and it's very quiet and private. I could do without the pedestal sinks and a mirror that showed below your chin in the bathroom could be helpful :) Kitchen is awesome, nice appliances. DVD player did not work and no directions for operation of tv.

Comfortable cabin with fabulous views!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The only reason we didn't rate our stay with 5's across the board was because there were some noticeable pest problems. We heard scurrying noises at night in the ceiling from the downstairs room, and found some mice droppings on the countertop behind the toaster. The stay was very comfortable, though!

Perfect view.

Great house and location. The view couldn't be better. The internet is spotty, I suggest they ditch Hughesnet and get Starlink. Not a good place for tv either, but we were there on a hiking trip and access to Ouray and Telliride is good, as is access to the trails on the north side of the San Juan's. Ridgway has become a hip little town, the vibe is kind of like Telluride 45 years ago. No bar soap!

Quiet, great views, and the secluded feeling even though there are homes nearby. The large deck is where we spent most of our time when not riding the trails

10 million dollar view!!!

The view from the porch is one of the most stunning features of this home!!! Easy to get to Ridgeway, Ouray and Telluride. Great restaurants in Ridgeway.

ski trip Telluride

fantastic views relaxing. well equipped. a bit of a drive to Telluride. 45 mins. but away from the crowds and more relaxing. only draw back was driving in snow took about an hour. but trade off worth it

The good and the bad

The good: Great setting, fantastic views, private, wonderful house. The bad: No guest info book -- all in an emailed PDF. But if u need to get access to the internet to retrieve the pdf you are lost. Many things not in pdf --e.g., how to use TV, how to work the lights (some lights have master and slave switches and you can go crazy trying to get them on). Asking questions to owner after getting on internet ( had to go to Ouray!!) was ok but took time for exchanges of questions/answers. Owners tried. But there really should be an info book inside the house. And entry codes should be in an email from VRBO. Internet itself was very very very slow. Made it difficult to use. Reservation process didn't tell us that there was essentially no cell phone service.
