Cozy, clean with spectacular views
Everything was wonderful, especially relaxing out on the deck enjoying the beautiful San Juan mountain range. We had our dog so we made sure we cleaned up upon departure including shaking out the rug, vacuuming and cleaning the home all around. I wish they had more pantry space and an oven, otherwise a perfect vacation.

WOW!!!!
This place couldn't be in a more perfect spot. The views from the deck are spot on! The house had plenty of room and very comfortable with everything we needed. The area is majical!!! Short drive to Ouray and Telluride. Hiking everywhere. Hosts very accomodating and quick to respond. Absolutely want to go back!!!

Awesome
Loved staying in this cabin. Well kept. Cozy. Had everything we needed. And the views are beautiful. Many hummingbirds hanging around. My only negative is the location is a long drive from anything. While it is a beautiful drive, just be aware of the added time. We ended up staying in towns for early dinners rather than making the round trip drive twice.

The best ever vacation stay!
This is our second visit to Sajama and we have already booked next year. If you're looking for a getaway with a 180 view of the mountains in a lovely home with great, caring and responsive owners, this is your place. If I could, I'd rate it a 10!

Majestic Getaway
From the scenery in the morning on the deck with the first cup of coffee. The Sunrise is beyond spectacular over the mountains. Not being far away from anything you are looking to do. Able to come back to a "home" that you again get to relax on the deck and have an evening with loved ones and friends that is just stunning. Will go back in a heartbeat! Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy the views. An amazing way to take a break from the stress that the daily grind gives.

Incredible views!
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was just perfect and well stocked. We couldn’t get enough of the deck and views. Comfortable beds and lovely decor. We felt perfectly at home. There are lots of trails in the neighborhood to explore the beauty of the area. We’d definitely recommend this home.

Spectacular Views
Probably the best place I’ve ever stayed at. The place is well stocked and actually nicer than the pictures. The view from the back deck was unbelievable! We ate all our meals out there. 100% recommended this place.

Never Disappoints
We've been going to this rental for about 20 years. The views of the mountains off the back deck are amazing. The place is always as clean as can be and very well laid out. It looks just as nice and fresh as the first visit. Loghill/Ridgway are located in the center of everything. Close to Ouray and Silverton to the south, Grand Mesa and Black Canyon of the Gunnison to the north and Telluride and Grand Junction to the west. The garage is a nice thing to have access to also. Our favorite drive in the summer and fall is Owl Creek Pass just to the west. Spectacular fall scenery and the best in the area in my opinion.

Lovely relaxing getaway
Everything was on premises that we needed. Views were stunning…house was warm & comfy…fun reading material to browse..nice walks through forests of pinyon pines. Everything was neat & clean…bed was SO comfy. The fireplace did not work but we didn’t care…watching sunrise over Courthouse mountain or sitting in sun on deck breathing the fresh air was all perfect!!

Cozy Getaway with Views for Miles
My family and I had an absolutely lovely stay here. Communication was prompt during the check in process. Cabin feels very private and the views are spectacular. They have worked to make it homey and stocked with several day to day necessities. Would highly recommend.

Extraordinary San Juan Mountain views
This was our third stay over a period of 12 years at this property but the first time with the current owners. The house itself is small but well maintained. There are great views of two mountain ranges both inside the living area and outside on the deck. The home is well equipped with everything needed for meal preparation. Since we prefer preparing food for ourselves, it is important to us to be able to do so efficiently. Our two favorite times of year in the areas are wildflower season in July and autumn color season from late September to mid October. The fact that it is a dog friendly property was important to us and it is located very close to hiking/walking trails! All in all, it has always been a great experience and we will look forward to a future return visit.

Great house great views
We enjoyed staying at this house. I was surprised to see there was AC because most Colorado homes ( at least in the mountains) don’t. Great touch for hot days. The views are spectacular and you can see every star, planet, constellation your eyes dream to see. The house was well stocked with dishes and cooking tools. Would definitely stay here again.

Great week in Colorado
Beautiful house, ALMOST perfect view. The view could be improved by trimming the tops of a few trees, but it’s still pretty fantastic! The only negative we have is that the listing of the house nowhere mentioned that it was UPSTAIRS!! Cathy managed the steps pretty well considering her physical limitations. We just weren’t expecting steps!

Property was as listed - very nice with amazing views of the mountains. Only downside was there is a home being built right next door so rather noisy weekdays. We hope to stay there again next year.

Beautiful views- so peaceful
We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and spacious. The back deck is amazing. We were so glad we brought a lot of groceries because we never wanted to leave! We ate dinner on the deck every evening and stayed out til the sun set. Great spot to read a book and relax. After day trips to Telluride, Silverton, and Ouray, it was the perfect retreat. We even just stayed at the house a couple days because there are some nice little trails around the house even. If you are looking for a beautiful place to spend some time relaxing, grab a bunch of groceries and head up to this wonderful house!

Magical Mountain Retreat
My husband, our Golden Retriever and I were bowled over by the 360 degree mountain views, amazing weather shows, milky way and rainbows. (short list) The location of this home is one in a million, Loghill Village is stunning and the people so nice. The dog and I loved the walking trails, so pretty. Wild life is everywhere! At night you don't have to let your eyes adjust to see the milkyway, just walk out and it's in your face. We were there in July, the mountains create some very interesting weather to watch throughout the day. I can't say enough how amazing it is up on Loghill. We were eating dinner and had the most amazing rainbow that lasted over 45 minutes. This home is an experience! Thank you so much Carol and Chuck for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful Views
The cabin had beautiful views of the snow capped mountains and sunrises from the back deck. You can also watch the sunset from the front deck. The cabins location is secluded and in a very quiet location at the top of the mountain. We were able to see deer every time we left the cabin but we didn’t leave much because it was so relaxing to just stay and cook on the back deck. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The home was very clean and cozy. The views from all the rooms are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, cookware and basic items such as sugar, spices, and a bonus of assorted tea bags. The master bed was very comfortable and had the softest linens we've ever experienced in a vacation rental home. This house has two sets of washers and dryers, which means you don't have to spend too much time doing laundry. The neighborhood was vert quiet and peaceful. All the people we'd pass on the streets waved at us. We didn't get to see stars at night due to the cloudy weather during our stay, however, we did get a small amount of snow on the 2nd day of our stay and it was MAGICAL! Carol was very helpful and communicative before, during and after our trip. The check in/out process was very easy. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, quiet stay. This home is the perfect location for southern Colorado adventures! We loved everything about it.

Stunning views and a cozy stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed, from dishes to blankets, and even some lovely tea. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well. The view from the deck was absolutely stunning, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and every person we drove past gave us a wave! While there are neighbors, they are spaced very far away and we really felt we had the space to ourselves. If you're looking for stars, you won't be disappointed. The sky was clear every night and the stars were beautiful. The host even has a telescope! We didn't have time to use them, but there were lots of board games, puzzles, and a good mix of DVDs that would suit a wide range of people. Having a washer and dryer was a huge bonus, too. Carol was very helpful and communicative leading up to our trip and the check in/out process was very easy. We travelled all over the area and found this to be very centrally located, as well. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, quiet stay. The cabin is small, but it never felt like it, and a family could easily be comfortable there. Thanks to Carol for providing the perfect base camp for our Colorado adventures!

Great getaway!
Spectacular view, and clean, well-kept property. It does take a good while to get up that hill to the property and 4-wheel drive is safer to be able to pull into the driveway. I would love to see an oven in the kitchen in the future, but that's really my only feedback. Otherwise, it's a great family stay with an unbeatable view! We had an awesome time!

Amazing views
We always enjoy staying in Ridgway! We’ve stayed at this cabin several times. Perfect for a couple or a small family. It’s such a beautiful place. Close to Ouray for shopping, trails trails and more trails to hike. Looking forward to our next visit already!
