A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain. Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. Parking was easy, staff were very welcoming. Very pet friendly with water bowls etc available. Dogs welcome in the bar area. Dog friendly room was clean and comfortable.I was leaving early and a lovely takeaway breakfast was left for me. Excellent in every way.
